1988 range rover classic TVR V8 for sale

This incredibly special Range Rover Classic, in its original Masai Red paint , fitted with a very rare TVR V8. Engine codes prove that it is a genuine TVR motor.

 

Much work done in recent years, over 20k in receipts (not including the TVR Motor). Including brake rebuild, new petrol tank, gearbox service, etc, etc.

 

lots of documented history, including the service history book complete and  another second one filled up to 2008, lots  of parts and labour receipts and services receipts, all the old MOTs and tax disks are also there.

 

The car has a total of 140k miles, and the speedo reads 10500miles as it was changed at the same time as the engine was in 2013.

 

The car was meant to be for my dad in France, but we were too slow to export, and with Brexit the new tax and paper rules on registering a car in France make it unviable anymore. V5c is in my name.

 

All the photos are from last weekend, and no filters or editing. Obviously, it has some age-related marks; it has not been fully restored but really would not take much to get it there or would make a great restomod. The rear windows are not working, and neither is the radio, sunroof works as it should.

 

All in all a very well sorted classic Range Rover that has incredible street presence and a roar from the TVR V8 that that draws admiring glances from all who hear it.

 

It drives beautifully no issues at all, handles surprising well on aftermarket suspension and the breaks being recently rebuilt. Also has an aftermarket immobiliser with an alarm.
