BEAUTIFUL, RARE 1966 CAPRICE SPORT COUPE BIG BLOCK 4 SPEED, SHOW AND GODue to family health reasons, this awesome collectable/street rod is up for sale. Don't miss out on this one as not only is it stunning, but you couldn't come close to building it for the Buy It Now price. The body work/paint job alone would be $20-25k. Again, it's a GORGEOUS, RARE 1966 Caprice Sport. The super slick/wet looking black paint is one of the many attributes of this car that stands out at shows (slick, laser straight, a lot of depth with absolutely no swirls). Its the only one of its type at every show I've taken it to; people say WOW, you just don't these anymore especially with a big block/4 speed combo. Combine that with its pro touring look/air ride suspension, its wins Peoples Choice and a variety of other awards every time. An absolute awesome "cruiser" that you can take anywhere with the comforts of AC/power steering and power brakes while shifting through the four gears. This car spent most of its life out west (built in LA, California and the majority of its life in Dallas, TX). This Caprice does retain many of the components it was born with. The entire body is solid/original (quarters, doors, fenders, hood, deck lid, inner/outer rockers, floor pans and trunk pan, bumpers, trim glass). Thus, the car offers absolutely no panel replacement/patches. As for drivetrain and suspension, it is very "tight" and dependable that can be driven smoothly anywhere!! It is a factory 396/4 speed with PS/PB/AC. It retains the original muncie 4 speed, 12 bolt rear end/gear, wiring harness, upper/lower control arms, all steering components, etc. Note the brakes and suspension have been professionally modified (air ride with 2 chrome Viair compressors, 5 gallon tank and 1/2" line, corvette calipers and cross drilled rotors for superior braking). It has staggered wheel sizes (very nice 20x9" at the rear and 18x8" up front). For some reason during its life someone removed the 396 and replaced with a 454 (still have the original 396 fender badging). Under the hood you'll also notice a polished aluminum brake master cylinder and AC compressor as well along with a 100amp alternator/aluminum radiator with dual fans). I still have original radiator. The interior is all original with the exception of the billet steering wheel, stereo and shifter knob. The inside also boasts an amazing sound system by Kicker (12" powered Kicker sub, Kicker 6x9 speakers in rear and Kicker 4" speakers up front powered by a Pyle amp all connected to the Pioneer bluetooth head unit). Again, there are some tasteful custom touches throughout this Caprice.  There are two small paint blisters, not rust (see photos--roof, louvre above deck lid). Also picture one of the car shows it "slammed" and picture two shows "ride height". I can email an VIN decoder report I have validating this information.....its also even more rare as it is a Caprice "Sport Coupe" model because of the gauge cluster it has above the console (like a 67,68,69 Camaro). This car was "TASTEFULLY AND PROFESSIONALLY" built. I have perfect feedack as both seller (vehicles, etc) and as a buyer. Please feel free to inquire or come look at the car. I can be reached at 614-400-5706, Brad. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
