1979 Chevrolet C-10 Scottsdale - 8ft bed, 4K rated Dump Body Restomod. Folks,  this is one clean truck inside and out. Functionally all systems are working and are in new or rebuilt condition. Impress everyone at the car show with the beautiful blue interior that flows to the patriotic roof liner in red white and blue flag style. Then click the yellow control button next to the B&M Shifter and start lifting the bed.  WoW is the reaction you get from the crowd. When you lift that dump bed at the gas station to fill the gas tank people just flock over like ants to ask questions and check out the ride. It is a definite attention magnet and one I am proud to say I installed in the truck. Please take the time to look at the pictures and ask me questions please. I will not hide anything about this truck or its condition because I know how it is to purchase a vehicle site unseen for those that are not local.  I want every little thing to be know good or not so good.  As everyone knows that has ever worked on or owned a classic vehicle there is always a TO DO list and additional work that can be done or a system upgraded by each new owner. I will disclose that I paid 14k for this vehicle in 2019 and I have invested over 12K in new parts and resto items along with about 400 hours of labor not included in the 12k parts.  We all know that we never get out of these vehicles what we put into them unless they are very rare or were owned by someone famous. This truck is neither of the previous mentioned but it will hold its value and continue to climb as years go on. I consider this vehicle to be about 97% complete to full resto modification. The hood was replaced with cowl induction and needs painted and in my opinion there is a need for repair the rocker/ brace under each door as they do show previous signs of rust but were covered with rust cancelling body spray by the previous owner.  This defect under each door is the only area that I found any evidence of rust and one of the reasons I bought this vehicle because it had literally no rust to speak of. My Research on the title shows its been a Florida vehicle its entire life. Below I will list each major component and provide a description for the condition. Engine - New GM crate 350 cid gen 1 short block 260hp,  Edlebrock EFI Intake, Electronic ignition, Atomic Electronic Fuel Injection system, AC system replaced.  After intake, EFI and Exhaust its safe to estimate about 300hp out put.  Transmission - New TCI turbo 350 with B & M converter, B & M SUV ratchet floor shifter. New trans oil cooler in front grill. Cooling system- All new replaced with electric fans tied to EFI and AC, New aluminum 3 layer radiator and hoses.  Fan on/off monitor lights in the cab.  Drive Axle & Suspension - New u joints, New shocks, New springs and helpers springs in the rearRear Axle - Inspected seals, Oil replacedBrakes - Front and Rear brakes completely new to include calipers & Rotors and rear Drums & wheel cylinders, New master cylinder and power booster.Lights and light sockets - All new marker lights, head lights, turn signalsGrill and chrome bumpers -  All NewWindow seals/ vent windows- replacedInterior all new - includes new dash top, Electronic Dash Bezel with LED read out, Vinyl floor covering, door and foot panels, glove box, Head liner, AM/FM Radio, New speakers, Visor and Seat reupholstered. All interior items are color matching where appropriate.Dual Exhaust - New from down tubes back.Fuel tank - New Holley with high performance fuel pump and sending unit, This unit matches the MSD EFI system and recommended by Holley as a matched replacement system. Wheels and Tires, Wheels showing some surface rust but still look great and polish up nice.  Tires very new and only have about 300 miles on them.  No Spare tire included.Dump Bed - Stock factory bed with a Peirce Arrow 4000lb dump lift system.  Custom rear bumper to accommodate the lifting of the bed and not interfere with the Hitch receiver. Paint -  Hood needs paint or wrap,  I have the 350 emblems for each side. The original hood was defective and folded up shortly after I brought the truck home.  Had to replace the hood which actually was a very good thing and helped get unwanted heat out of the engine bay.  The vehicle Paint overall has chips and other blemishes normal to these old vehicles and normal wear and tear.  There are also small uneven surfaces in a couple spots which I assume are from the original body work done by the previous owners. I am no body repair person so I did not attempt any body work or improvements to the paint job.  The condition is what it was when I purchased it.  There is so much more to mention here but running out of room to list all the improvements so please contact me with any particular questions you have and I will respond quickly as possible.  Overall this Restomod is in very good shape and just needs the love of a new owner who really enjoys these type vehicles.  As with every classic vehicle there are always things that need attention, repair or replacement and much of that is determined b the owner as well and what resources they have available to sink into it.  If your considering the purchase of a classic vehicle for resale purposes then don't buy one at all because these vehicles are not the types you can flip for profit. Just doesn't happen in the real world like the show on Motor Car TV shows.  Again, I have invested well over 12K on top of the 14K I paid for this truck 2 years ago.  I bought it as a fun project and not for investment but unfortunately I haven't had time to take it to shows or otherwise and I need the room in my garage so the truck has to move outside.  I would rather it go to a new owner that can appreciate its rarity with the dump bed and colors.  As I explained earlier its a head turner and attention getter. Know for the legal stuff and all the other boring junk.
