Austin Mini Piccadilly 1986 - 11 month MOT - Comprehensive Service HistoryI purchased the Mini as a project car in Jan 2020 which then became a 'Lock down' project. It did not drive and needed a new floor. I now need to sell the car as I do not have the paint facilities (or skills) to complete and another longer running Mini project needs some more investment.I have in the last 18 months - eradicated virtually all the rust on the car - getting it to run and drive - and MOT'd (zero advisories in both 2020 & 2021)Year - 1986Service History - Comprehensive - including original purchase document & lots more MOT - to 10th August 2022Mileage - 109,000Runs and drives - Yes Title - CleanBodywork - Very good condition, no rust at all except the odd small bubble. I have put new driver,s floor, new inner and outer sill (both sides see photos) plus a new passenger side door step. The previous owner put in two new wings (inner and outer), front valance and bright work front and back. The car comes with new P700 headlights (easily swapped if not your thing). The rear quarter panels have been welded professionally but I have used filler to hide the weld seams. This needs finishing! Repeat the filler is only cosmetic.Subframes - Both front and rear in very good condition.Cooling / heating - new radiator, thermostat, water pump, fan belt, hoses and heater matrix. I have deleted the heater valve due to getting fed up at fitting 3 poor quality ones in 18 months.Suspension - new rear shocks, front subframe mounts, front hi-lo trumpets, front shock mountsIgnition / fuel - I bought a refurbished HS4 carb, exhaust manifold, new exhaust, alternator, dizzy cap, points and condenser. The carb will need some fettling as the car has some intermittent hot starting issues - cold start it starts first time.Engine - New clutch (300 miles ago), top steady bar, clutch arm, oil filter and oil flush and refill. New spark plugs.Interior - all deep cleaned (it needed it). New rear parcel shelf and door bin covers. What the car needs -  Paint - I have covered the new panels and welding with Cashmere Gold paint but it needs a respray which is beyond my skills & budget (other projects). Rear quarter panels need finishing Soundproofing and carpet - the car is fun to drive but very noisy. Original chocolate carpet on floors - this is clean but very worn and wheel arch carpet missingCarb - needs fettling to cure hot starting issue - runs great otherwise.Happy for you to view the car - evenings onlyLocation of car - SN16 North Wiltshire (nr Swindon).  Please do not bid unless you can collect (or have it collected) the car from here.Please no dreamers, if you bid you buy not to haggle.
