Up for auction is a nice 1970 914 2. 0 with two Weber IDF'S 44's on it. 901 tranny. 1" adjustable front sway bar. 320i front calipers(New). xternal oil cooler mounted on the front bumper. set of 4 Porsche racing wheels with tires but the tires are dry rotted from sitting and racing. 5 Gauge 911 Dash. rebuilt tranny the same time the engine was redone which it has been sitting for 11 years in a garage but the engine has about 4000 miles on it. Monza exhaust. 4 point driver harness. Bilstein front shocks. Koni rear shocks with adjustable coil over's. MSD 6a. MSD electronic Distributor. MSD Coil. nbsp;MSD Tach Adapter. MSD 8. 5mm Super Conductor wires. New Bosch Platinum + 4 Plugs. All Chrome Engine Pans. All new shift rod bushings and like new shifter. Side Scoops on rear quarter panels for cooler engine temperatures. The one on the passenger side needs to be hooked up ( the battery is in the way of a straight through tube. The driver side is functional and goes straight into the engine and it cruises slightly below 180 Degree on the temp gauge. All the glass is like new. not like your normal Arizona car where the glass looks sandblasted.

I got this car from my Neighbor. he bought it in 2002 drove two tanks of gas in it and quit driving it and I don't blame him. trying to shift with two out of three shiftrod bushing missing. He is not so mechanically inclined and just let it sit in his garage until I spotted it. It's a nice Arizona car. I'm from back east and usually the fender lips would be all rusted but this one. nbsp;the fender lips have no signs of rust or any of the fenders really to speak of. When I got it it wouldn't shift or couldn't find any gears with the shifter bushings missing. The front brake calipers were leaking. the fuel lines were leaking. So I worked on it for a month or so and found the distributor was bad. The coil was arcing the calipers. wires . lugs. fuelines. couple fuses. and the shifter was worn badly. it had no spring tension on it or reverse lockout as it is called. the battery was dead. nbsp;so i replaced everything I just mentioned. I also changed the oil and drained and refilled the transmission as well. I also removed both carburetors and cleaned them all out. did a valve adjustment.  Now. It runs great handles like a dream. it's pretty fast but I am used to 11/1 500hp 383's that I build and put in my 60 70 era cars that I build. None of them handle like this thing I can no matter what suspension I put on it. I can confirm that. I don't even slow down on corners with this car no matter how sharp a turn is. it takes it like it's on a rail!! The tires on the car are good all the way around but with a set of racing tires it would be ready for running the slalom track.

I am a professional painter and I used to do alot of show cars in my town. I could have this car painted in 10 days or so but that would have to be negotiated. The paint on this car is about a 7 or a 10 footer as they would say

Good luck Bidding and Thanks for lookin!!!

It's also a Hydraulic lifter engine with big. I think 3/8's or bigger Aluminum pushrods. I also noticed that it went up to 6500 on the tach pretty easy one me one time when I got on it and I left off. so I don't know for sure if the engine was balanced but it sure feels like it!

I didn't paint the underbody to hide any rust I will leave that to the new owner. All four jack points are solid. Some minor surface rust in some spots but it's not rotten just surface and I also have pictures of the front and rear trunks that show original paint in the floors of them and no rusty spots. All I need is an email if you would like to see them.

I have been driving this car for the last three or so weeks just about everyday and I haven't had any issues with anything. There isn't a leak anywhere on the car. fuel lines. brake lines. oil cooler lines and engine all good!

Usually you will get leaks somewhere on a car that has been sitting for a long time but I fixed everything weeks ago like I stated above and haven't had anything new pop up on me since. Also it doesn't use any oil either. the level is just where it was when I changed it a month ago. After 3 weeks of driving it hasn't used a drop of oil which is a good sign that no condensation got into the carburetors or in the cylinders and corroded the cylinder walls which would make it use or burn oil.

I forgot to mention that this vehicle is equipt with a Sindwinder alarm system.

I added some more photo's to this photo bucket http://s1190. photobucket. com/user/davidd8859/library/#/user/davidd8859/library/Porsche%20914?sort=3&page=1&_suid=13669361820930812904391796752

I chipped off all the undercoating that was peeling on the underbody and wheel wells and recoated the floor pan with rubberized undercoating. Where the coating was peeling there was clean metal under it as you can see in the photo's.
