This is a well taken care of and well maintained 930 Turbo. I have owned this car for 33 years and I am the second owner. I purchased it from my business bank who repossessed the car. I was told from the Vice President of the bank that the car was purchased for the 1979 Cannonball Run and the owner made it from New York to Redondo Beach in 37 hours? I am not sure if thats fast or not. but it sound fast. This 3. 3 intercooled turbo motor has an adjustable waste gate. stainless steel headers and H-1 headlights installed by the original owner. I never met the original owner to find out about the complete history of this car so there are some things I am unaware of . This car sat in storage for almost eight years.

For 33 years the car has always been garaged and seen rain maybe 3 times. The paint is nice and shiny. This car is 35 years old. Its not a museum piece just a darn nice car. There are some small 1/32 to 1/16 chips in the front maybe six? A small fine scrach 3-1/2" at back side of front passenger wheel well. There is a 1/2" tear in the passenger side black. rear. fender flare protector. I was asked if it leaked oil. yes about the size of a quarter every two months. I was asked if the car was ever in an accident? Not as long as I owned the car but I don't know about the original owner? The car has always been well maintained and regularly serviced. The motor has had Porsche recommend timing chain and adjuster upgrades along with cylinder head stud upgrades. I do all the recommended items the Porsche mechanics tell me to to keep the car in good shape.

I should say that this car is stupid fast and is not a kids car. Hit third gear and wave to everybody "Bye Bye". This car was designed for Groupe "B" racing.   The brake calipers were honed and rebuilt with new stainless steel braided brake lines. It stops so hard your eye balls will pop out of their sockets. The car tracks true and straight. Does not pull to one side or other. Has new Bilstiens all around. Tires are newer Bridgestones Potenza all around. Clutch and throw out was replaced about 2. 00 miles ago. Most hoses have been replaced because of age along with some rubber gaskets and some moldings that have cracked with age. I did have both front seats reupholstered because the piping was coming off at the drivers seat. The car did have an 80's cell phone so there is some wiring still there. The doors have always been hard to shut. I took it to Porsche dealer and the mechanic showed me that if I roll down the window or open the sun roof the doors will close much nicer. Because the car has rubber moldings in good shape it is so air tight the last door to close requires much more effort. He said these cars were so air tight that they will float? One of the potential buyers had a hard time getting the snaps off the trunk liner and molested it. Most likely it will require a new trunk liner.

Everything works. But the clock has issues. its slow. It works but doesn't keep accurate time and the A/C would work if it had the old R-12 Freon in it.  Still has the original non-barrier hoses and weeps out all the refrigerant. This is a great car for the money. You'll be hard pressed to find another 930 in this great condition for any price. California buyers need to call or E-mail first before purchasing. Because of the headers their could be issues passing California smog but it is possible.  Text at 626-484-7199 or E-mail rogergranger1@aol. com I can't get to all the phone calls so E-mail is best. Will cooperate with your shipper and can hold for up to 30 days but must be paid for in full. This car is sold as is so please ask questions before you buy. I have a 100% E-bay rating for buying and selling and represent this car to the best of my ability. If you don't have the money please don't bid.

I added 2 additional pictures. One from underneath at the motor and transmission and the other inside the front trunk. It also has the original front license plate and bracket along with a front Bra that I may have used twice. The left side of the trunk had a old I think it was an radio amplifier that had fins on it. It was removed 30 years ago but the bracket is still there.
