Land Rover Ranch had just completed a frame off restoration. Every part disassembled, bead blasted, and reassembled to original specs. Every component rebuilt including brakes, axles, and engine. Every nut and bolt replaced. Original rust-free New Mexico truck. 16" wheels, power brakes, on a 61K mile, New Mexico native, Series llA Land Rover that had zero rust issues since new. Doug paid $33,000 back then. .The following website is the original ad Doug saw on Land Rover Ranch's "For Sale" page. It is the 4th one up from the bottom of the webpage: . http://www.landroverranch.com/forsale.html .After purchasing it, Doug shipped it to his vacation home in Missoula, Montana where he would drive it while visiting from Los Angeles, which was his work slash home-base. Because of his busy work schedule, he rarely would visit it, so consequently it accumulated around 4k miles during his stewardship. As of today the odometer reads 65,363 miles. . I learned about the LR in 2018 when Doug was complaining about the local upholsterer in Montana not able to complete a new interior, and could I give a recommendation. Long story short, the LR was shipped to L.A. where I did the interior in my spare time as a favor. Then it sat in a garage in LA till 2020 at which point Doug asked me if I wanted to buy it, so I did. Since then the paint was touched up and buffed out, also did a few upgrades like fenders flairs, which are easily removable with no signs of being there, mounted 1990's factory LR side mirrors, plus numerous details so to make it presentable and well sorted. Since I'm done with this one, now I'm looking for the next project, so it's time for this one to go to a good home. . .Side note: My favorite Easter Eggs on this LR, . 1) The topical roof, top cap (top 10 inches) unbolts and when flipped over can be used as a boat. It's actually designed with that purpose in mind. . 3) Last, it has a PTO (Power take off) one in the front and one in the rear, which has numerous tool attachments from LR that can be used out in the field or on the farm.
