WELCOME TO THE AUCTION OF MY LOVELY XJS.I BOUGHT AND IMPORTED THIS CAR MYSELF AS I HAVE ALWAYS FANCIED OWNING ONE,AND ALL THE BRITISH ONES WERE TO PRICEY OR RUSTY.THIS CAR WAS OWNED BY THE AMERICAN ARMY FROM NEW AND USED BY A GENERAL AS IS PRIVATE GETTING AROUND THE BASE CAR.AT HIS RETIREMENT IT WAS SOLD TO ME THROUGH ARMY SURPLUS.THE CAR STARTS FIRST TURN OF THE KEY AND DRIVES REALLY NICE .THE ROOF WORKS ELECTRICALLY AND COMES WITH THE TONNEAU COVER.THE BODY WORK IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION WITH ONLY A SMALL BLEMISH TO THE PAINTWORK WHERE THE BONNET LATCHES.A COUPLE OF TINY BUBBLESIN THE PAINT.I WAS TOLD THE CAR WAS REPAINTED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF FADING AND LACQUER PEEL.THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM GAVE IT A FULL SERVICE AND PUT ON FOUR BRAND NEW COOPER COBRA TYRES AS THE ARMY WAS PAYING.THE INTERIOR IS PRESENTABLE BUT COULD DO WITH SOME WORK.THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON,BUT ONLY AS NON OF MY LOCAL GARAGES KNOW HOW TO TURN IT OFF IT RUNS WITH OUT FAULT.THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK AT MY AUCTION ,ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL.ADAM 07770956898
