Great opportunity to get a low mileage flagship 1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.  Has the big motor combined with the rare factory rear seat option.  The car is in excellent mechanical condition, has been very well maintained, and runs and drives great.  Have most of the maintenance records since 2013 when the car came to my family from the original owner. The last three owners have been my dad, myself, and now my sister.  My sister is moving to the mountains, so its time to let it go.  Overall the car still looks great, and gets compliments almost everytime its driven. I would rate the exterior conservatively a 7.5 out of 10, and the interior as an 8 of 10.  Very good condition for a 33 year old car. Decent tires. There are a few bumps and bruises: 1. small dent by right side headlight, 2. paint is oxidizing on the rear quarter panel, 3. small dent on the hardtop, 4. the plastic windows in the soft top have cracked, 5. tears in rear seat from putting the hard top and snagged.  I have tried to take good pictures of all these areas.  It would not take a lot to get this car back to fantastic condition.Any check will have to clear my (or my sister's) bank before you can take the car. Please ask all questions before bidding and do your research on shipping and/or financing if you need it.  There is no reserve on this and it has a low minimum bid, so don't bid if you are not going through with it.  Why do people do that?  I am happy to send additional pictures, videos, or it we can coordinate a facetime for a serious bidder.  Car is listed for sale locally, so may be sold earlier and end the auction if there have not been any bids received yet. For the right offer, I can try and add a "buy-it-now" option.Car is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty.Good luck!
