Owned for the last 9 years by (me) a US Army Engineer Officer.

Up for sale is my 1967 Mustang. It's a resto mod and finished off in gunmetal with maroon racing stripes, and red interior.

This car is definitely a head turner and always has people asking me to pull over and talk about it.

When I first acquired this Pony, I was torn on what I think is the most distinctive feature, which are the oversized low profile wheels and tires. I always thought Crager mags might look better on her, but after a while they grew on me and the response from other car guys made me keep them. Granted some loved them, and a few didn't but the most common sentiment I felt was that it made the car have a very unique look and stance. I think at this point if I were to keep it I'd keep the wheels as they are, just to take her out to car shows, but if you want to drive her for any long distances or get her on the highway for long drives, I'd probably consider using a wheel tire combo with a bit more rubber and smaller wheel (but I'd definitely keep the current set up for shows and family ice cream runs ).

It's a 289, and has a nice throaty sound to it coming off of dual exhausts. It has disc brakes all around. It has a pretty decent interior. The headliner needs a few stitches in a spot or two but nothing major at all. She's not a museum car by any means. She is a driver and meant to be enjoyed. Odometer and fuel gauges have never really worked properly since I've owned the car since 2013. Currently shows 62430.

This car has been fun for our family. We've used it to grab burgers at the drive in, for ice cream runs, and sometimes just for a run to the market (which end up usually being much longer runs as inevitably someone wants to chit chat about her).

She's been used as picture car for an HBO production, and some local shoots in NYC (see pics). I've brought her out to a few car shows as well and the response has always been fun.

I'm not really in a hurry to sell so I'm not desperate to do so. She's currently garaged (and always has been since my ownership). The only reason I'm thinking of selling is that I've moved on to electric cars, could use the space, and I'm taking up aviation so a small plane might be on the future toy list. That said, I think it's time for her to move on and be driven by someone who cares about these cars, instead of her simply sitting in a garage.
