Mercedes Benz 450SEL 6.9

Well, what have we here I hear the assortment of all you old rogues, cads and fat cats muttering.

Well this 1979 Australian Delivered Benz 6.9 saloon is lovely. It is incredibly original & genuine and presents very cleanly and tidy. It looks fabulous in the period but contradictorily attractive pale green over tan colour scheme & has had a long life of Merc mad owners/enthusiasts and lovers that have looked after it to upkeep its impressive condition. The interior is really nice clean and tidy in its bamboo and the paintwork is fresh and resplendent in the very groovy pastel thistle green. The car has covered 266k km. Significantly less than James Hunt's trysts. 

These machines were far more than just a car in their day. A favourtie of the Hollywood A list. Much more an obligatory accessory for anybody that was a somebody, a mover and shaker of the 70's. However even the big 6.9 blushed in comparison to the power of its drivers. 

How does David Bowie, Nicki Lauda, Cher and James Hunt sound for a kick off? I could keep going so I will. Kings, magnate's, captains of industry, celebrities, dictators and heads of state. And this one is no exception having been the property very suitably of our very own premier Mr. Jeffrey Kennet. 

It has all its original factory books, manuals & super detailed service history FROM new in the 70's and a thick ring binder of receipts and history throughout the decades until now. not to mention all THREE of its original ignition & spare keys. This is just a really nice legit, genuine clean Aus delivered 6.9 with full history handsome looks and a cool provenance. You cant find this anymore & therefore going up. A rare opportunity.
