For sale is my much loved, and well driven 1989 Mini Mayfair. Actually, it's my wife's car and she's decided to go from 2 cars (both Minis) to just the one now that she's working full time and we need the garage space!This Classic Mini Mayfair is a rare Automatic and runs really well. It starts first time (every time) and drives well. She happily sits on 50/60 mph on local roads and is nippy to drive.The paint needs some work (not urgent) and surface rust is coming through in some places. MOT advisory is for a bit of subframe welding (£150) which is fairly minor work. Engine bay could use a clean. Otherwise she's solid and reliable. She flies through past MOTs and I get a lot of compliments when she's on the road! The Mini has done long haul Mini events (over 400 miles) without missing a beat. New electric distributor, plugs and ignition coil have recently been added and she's super reliable! Interior is good and clean. Carpet could probably do with changing but is usable as is. The Mini also has a Union Jack roof decal and sunroof!The Mini would be perfect for a rolling restoration which could be driven and restored on the go - it would also be an ideal "original" restore vehicle. All windows (except windshield) still have original glass in the windows with plate number on them, original upholstery and original paint. These are going up in value, so snag a future investment!
