I rebuilt this mustang with my father, originally it was a 289 but we swapped it out for a rebuilt 302 block engine from a 1968 Mach 1 Mustang in 2019. About 500 miles have been put into it. Its practically brand new.The inside of the car is soundproofed and installed with new carpet. The seats are the originals but were stripped and re-upholstered, we installed head rests on the passenger and driver seats. We installed a rear stereo system in the back of the bench seats as well. The transmission was rebuilt as well in april so its practically brand new, its a 3 speed. Now I have a 4-speed transmission I bought last year but I've never had the time to install it. I still have it and if your interested in it let me know. Carburetor is new as well, installed in 2019. This mustang has had pretty much everything inside rebuilt or new parts installed. The intake manifold is from the original 289 and the  new carburetor installed is a 2 valve. the engine is a 302 but I haven't had the time to change the manifold and carburetor. If you want a bigger punch than what it already has when the gas pedal is punched, then the carburetor and intake manifold should be changed to a 302. I believe the current manifold on it is an Edelbrock. It runs like a beauty and on the highway it runs great too, hits 90 miles an hour with no issues. pushed it to 110 mph once and no issues but didn't want to push it farther than that ;)The drive shaft was rebuilt and the U-bolts and the joints were improved and rebuilt. The transmission is under warranty for 3 years by Budget Transmissions in Greensboro NC. One of the best transmission shops in NC. Ive got the paperwork and invoice in hand. The under carriage of the mustang is in good condition for a car this old. Its got some rusting here and but nothing bad. Pics of under carriage are included. Truck is in good condition! Have some carpet left over on it due to original carpet being taken out cause it was just old and dirty. There is some rust on the headers that connect to the h-pipe but its normal. The front brakes were replaced to discs instead of drums, the rear brakes are drums. The mustang also has power steering as well. The radiator and alternator are new as well, installed at the end of 2019. The exhaust and h-pipe are new as well, thought the pipes leaving the H-pipe do need some more tweaking cause the flowmaster mufflers are a bit low. The mufflers were installed in June and are Flowmasters series 40 deltaflow, so its got that nice rumble and loudness, but not too loud to wake up the neighbors :) I also had some nice blue flame chrome tips installed as well. The antena is at an angle due to removal for painting but the place that painted the car did not do a good job putting it back. The rims are the originals from 1966,  I didn't know they were until i was doing some detailing when I first bought it and for rims that old they were in amazing condition. The tires are new as well, they were installed in January of 2021.The heat works inside the cabin of the car. Some water does get in on the passenger side but apparently this is an issue with all classic mustangs its an easy fix but we haven't had time to do it. We cover it when it rains. Wipers work well too. The small rear window does not go down, it needs a part to bring it down. But its up and looks great. The chrome on this mustang still looks brand new, still has that nice shine and you can see your reflection. Tail lights are also new as well and the headlights are brand new LED Halo lights. Super bright at night. And super good looking. Brand new starter and alternator installed as well. Radiator and alternator are chrome. The engine was painted gold to give it a nice look. The valve covers are painted gold and are original Scott drake valve covers.I've only driven it on weekends and used it as an everyday car a few times, its a real head turner and very reliable. Im in my 20s and people always look twice and throw lots of compliments. This car was made to be a real head turner. ;)Overall its in great condition, most of the issues it has are cosmetic on the outside, it was painted but where i got it painted kind of did a lazy job, it looks great but once you get up close you can see some small issues. The inside top is white and its missing the passenger sun visor but its pretty easy to buy a new one, just haven't had time. The interior dash is new as well. the bottom of it was painted over, but the place that did it didn't sand it. The right front mustang word emblem is missing but again its pretty easy to get a new one, other than that all the emblems are brand new. Also there is a scratch on the right side passenger door that a driver parked next to me did when backing out of a parking spot. There are some small chips here and there but nothing major. I was planning to sand and paint the whole car again but I dont have time. Some over spray on the bottom lights as you can see in the pictures but its an easy switch and fix, some overspray on the radiator on the bottom where the paint shop didn't bother covering. (Honestly the paint shop did a decent job but lazy on some parts)The battery is new as well, but it has a cut of switch, I installed the cut off switch because the car battery drains, I cant seem to find a bad ground but a friend of mine who works on transmissions told me they sell kits that can help find the problem. But with the cut off switch its a simple turn of the nob to stop it from draining. Its pretty much a habit for me now when I'm done driving it or parked. There is a bit of paint lifting on the top rear in a small area, again I haven't had time to get the car properly sanded and painted but whoever purchases the car will have the ability to do so. The front shock absorbers are new but the right one squeaks. However the rear shocks are new and are Monroe load adjusting shock absorbers, nearly lost an arm installing them lol they were all installed in 2019.Glove compartment was removed to install new heater and fan. But the glove compartment cover is installed. The front stereo needs to be changed but it works. Set up a stereo system in the rear that needs to be connected, wires are ready to go. Radio works as well and inner lights on the dash all work too.Visibly the car is amazing, the interior looks amazing and it runs like brand-new, and its because everything in it that makes it run is brand new or rebuilt. My father and I have put in a lot of work in it and have had a lot of fun with it. With my busy schedule and my fathers busy schedule we just don't have time to drive it. I've got a lot of fond memories with it on the times I've worked on it with him and driving it with him, and honestly who ever buys it will make amazing memories driving it. Its a one of a kind car, and trust me it can take current mustangs in  a race and win, trust me ive done it ;) Any more questions feel free to message me! Contact: 336-307-5442 or 336-451-7064
