The 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Turbo was the last year of the W123 (S123) which benefited from a revised gearing / transmission, allowing the car to cruise at higher speeds at lower rpms, considered the most desired year for a W123, with Wagons being an enthusiast's preferred choice. Power is provided by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-five paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a retractable sunroof, roof rails, automatic climate control, chrome 14″ Bundt wheels and wheel arch trim, tinted windows, and an aftermarket radio. The car was acquired by the seller in June 2020, and subsequent service included a professional detail with paint correction, all new filters (fuel, air, oil), replaced front headlights and assembly, missing wood trims, new oil pan and gasket, new value cover gasket and valves have been adjusted in preparation for the sale. The turbodiesel 3.0-liter inline-five was factory rated at 123 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. This W123 wagon shows 230k miles (working odometer) and a clean Georgia title in the seller's name.Based on the W123, the S123 was the first station wagon that Mercedes-Benz designed in-house. It was sold in America between the 1979 and 1985 model years, first with a naturally-aspirated engine and later with a turbo. Overseas markets got gasoline-powered wagons, but the U.S. only received diesel-powered models equipped with an automatic transmissionAutocheck history reports two accidents that were a long time ago and car has been a southern car spending its life in GA and FL, with 2 years in NYCar has been repainted to the original color of LIGHT IVORY,Wear on Drivers seatAC system is all there, will need a chargeMostly rust free, with one visible area under headlight
