Chevrolet : Corvette LT1

Hi everyone. br>This is a car bought for my birthday in Edmonton to drive it with my girlfriend from Edmonton to Vancouver . a beautiful 13 hours drive  through the Canadian Rockies. where there is no gas stations or repairs shops along the way . so I needed a reliable car and that was getting good fuel economy. I could have bought a toyota camry . ut it would have been the most boring drive ever. so for this once in a life time drive IT HAD TO BE IN A CORVETTE!!
Then I had the car shipped in an enclosed carrier from Vancouver to my home in Montreal.
I would love to keep the corvette . my girlfriend wants to keep it for herself but the reality is that I collect cars and motorcycles and have WAY too many of them and not enough space or time to play with all of them so I will be making space in the next few months selling some of my toys. and sadly this Corvette is one of them.

BODY : This looks very good in its white color. there are some very small stone chips but  ONLY normal wear . both the flip up headlight motors has been replaced with new ones that have BRASS gears and not the cheapy plastic gears everyone buys. they work perfect as well as the fog lamps.
INTERIOR: The interieor is clean. the carpets are clean and STAIN FREE. there is NO SMELL . or Water dripping in the car when you drive in wet condition. Plus the light grey interior the greatly appreciated on hot summer days. The rear hatch stays up when you open it. and the Targa top is fully functionnal with no rattles and water getting inside.  
The car comes with ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL. SHOP MANUAL. and original TORX ratchet tool for the removable top.  
The original radio is not included but a NEW Pionner head unit with MP3. WMA. has been installed . It comes with IPOD connection and USB . The rest of teh system is the Original BOSE surround sound system.
ALL the gauges work and read correct . and even if the car is from California the speedometer and trip info are both in metric or Imperial. the car has 107 000 miles or 172 000 kilometers. wich is nothing for a car like this .

TIRES: Almost new ( 2000 miles)  BF Goodrich 275 40 zr 17 Comp II Ultra high performance tires. those were voted as best C4 Corvette tires according to Tire rack.
POWERTRAIN and DRIVETRAIN: This car pulls very strong . its an underated 300 net horsepower. 330 ft-lb of torque 5. 7 liters V8 that runs on synthetic oil. runs smooooooth with  no noises or vibrations. The fuel economy is very impressive . it will get 7-8 liters per 100 km at 120 km/h . and the fuel tank is large enought to cover large distances without having to refuel.  
The crappy Opti-Spark GM Ignition module has been replaced by a MSD Ignition unit. as well as the water pump ( the water pump was fine but once you get to the opti spark module you better change the water pump anyway since youre already in it.
The transmission is a 4 speed automatic and shifts and downshifts very nice and smooth . no slippage at all and the fluid is exept of funny smell. or contaminants.
The exhaust system is free of leaks or rattles
The suspension is tight. this car handles like if it was on rails and the brakes are on par with the suspension performance.
This car was brought from California to Canada about a year ago . the previous owner had to get the car inspected to be able to register it in his province (Alberta ). they had ball joints . tie rods. and brakes replaced and this car requires nothing to get certified.  
There are NO LEAKS . I like my garage floor clean !
In simple terms. this car LOOKS GREAT.  and in GREAT SHAPE and DRIVES GREAT and I would be affraid of driving this car ANYWHERE you want . no matter how far you want to drive.

 When I say this car is in GREAT SHAPE . its true but just like we say for Madonna shes in Great shape for her age. Thank god this car isnt as old as Madonna but yes it does have some area that will require your attention to make it PERFECT and they are listed below.
The car spent 95% of its life in California and you can check the history this car has a PERFECT history :NO ACCICENTS. NO LIEN. NOTHING WEIRD ever happenned to this car. Being a California vcar . the sun has done some "work' to the glove box and trim on the dash board but its barely noticeable and Im saying it just beacuse I want to make sure I cover everything on this car.
The A/C needs to be refilled.
The driver seat will need some attention  the right bolster has a hole in it and can be easily re upholstered . you dont need entire new seat covers since only this small area is cracked . the rest of the two seats are fine(See pictures).
The motors for the seats . those are the SPORT SEATS with power bolsters. and adjustments of all kind. well the motors are tired . they work they will move the seat for your best driving position and so . ut they will eventally need your attention.
The handbrake (emergency brake) one lifted ( WOW the handbrake is actually working !!!!) is a bit too high to my taste. so either the rear pads are a bit low . or the cable need adjusting. that said the hand brake function properly and will retain the car when shifted in Drive . like it should).
One of the plastic trim in the hatch area near the window.  has a crack in it. it can be glued . fixed. or replaced at low cost . and this car has the BOSE surround sound system and the tiny two speaker grilles in the hatch need to be replaced or re-carpeted (its two small grey carpet squares).
There is one pressure point on the rear bumper. with very hard to see spider webbing in the clear coat. but to be honest you need to really look to see anything and the PAINT JOB ON THIS CAR LOOKS GREAT !!
In simple terms. this car LOOKS GREAT.  and in GREAT SHAPE and DRIVES GREAT and I would be affraid of driving this car ANYWHERE you want . no matter how far you want to drive.
My Reserve is set at a low 7800$ US. try to find another one that clean with low mileage for anything less than 10k good luck. so
