Very Custom 1973 Mach 1 Mustang Pro-Touring, the Mach Z.  (Mach 1 plus Z-28)  A completely modern take on a classic car.  Handling, power, fuel injection, AC, Cruise, PROVEN reliability.  Youtube video(100+ pictures, several short videos embedded, very good audio/walkaround of car running at 1:55 min., Detailed video at end while up on the hoist to get a good look under car):COPY AND PASTE: Suspension:  Uses full front suspension from 4th Gen Camaro Z-28, including rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, and A-arm suspension.  Upgraded 1.25" anti-roll bar and urethane bushings.  275/40/17 tires on 17x9.5" wheels.  Factory GM K-member(modified mounting of course) bolts into the Mustang frame and can be removed out the bottom, just like a new car.  Engine/trans/front suspension can drop out the bottom in one kit if desired, or come out the top old-school.Rear Suspension: Leaf spring with custom floaters, with 4th Gen torque arm. 3.42 Posi 4th Gen rear end, narrowed 2 1/2" to allow 315/35/17 tires on 17x11 wheels.  Moser axles, Auburn Differential. Upgraded 1" anti-roll bar and urethane bushings with Koni Classic adjustable shocks.Engine:  385 cubic inch LT4, AFR 195 Eliminator heads, shaft mounted rockers, Comp hyd roller cam, Scat 4340 crank and H-beam rods, JE reverse dome blower pistons, Canton trap door corvette road race oil pan.  Electric water pump, SLP headers, 2 1/2" dual exhaust. LT1 block, billet steel splayed main caps.  Oh yea, and the D1-SC procharger with a large Procharger Air to air intercooler mounted up front.  Bosch intank fuel pump(with proper effective baffling inside tank), LT4 intake, 65lb injectors, Aeromotive regulator and inline filter.  Makes 8psi boost, estimated 650 HP.  All docs available.Transmission: T56 6-speed with .50 6th gear.  Upgraded synchros and shift forks.  SPEC stage 3.5 clutch assembly.  Hydraulic clutch assyembly.Brakes:  FULLY FUNCTIONAL 4-wheel electronic ABS brakes.  Work just like factory, light on the dash and all.Body: Full rotisserie restoration, new floors, rear quarters, inner wheel wells, and other repairs as needed.  NO RUST ON THE CAR.  It does have some small paint chips behind the tires from driving it, but NO RUST, either visible or hiding.  All stripes and decals are painted and cleared over smooth, art files are saved.  Paint codes are factory GM colors and provided.  Full custom underbody frame ties and K-bracing mount below factory floorpan.  All bracing bolts in place SECURELY to assist in handling and allow maintenance.Interior: Uses 4th gen guage panel, retains all factory functions, check engine, ABS, all as intended from factory.  Rear fold-down "sport seats" factory optioned, has Junior Dragster 4-point harnesses in the back seats.  Kids LOVE buckling into the race harnesses!!   Power driver's seat fits drivers from 5'3' to 6'2" and skinny to fat. DOCUMENTATION:  Full GM Helm's Manual set for the 1995 Z-28.  ALL WIRING IS DOCUMENTED in the manuals and markups provided where changes were made.  You will not find this with any car built by the "big guys".  Wiring is fully as GM built the 4th gen Camaro, including all relays, Anti-theft key, PCM, AC wiring, electric fans, etc.  Retains OBD2 port for plugging in for any diagnostics.  Full documentation of integration of engine and chassis wiring, uses all factory fuses and relay centers for easy ID and long term durability. Full PCM editing software and all past files provided with purchase if desired.Other:  Car has the following options from the 4th gen: Cruise control, Air conditioning, delay wipers with 'park position", floor mounted E-brake.  Factory power windows.  Air intake plumbing to remove the Procharger provided if you so desire.  The great thing about the 4th gen platform is the HUGE aftermarket support of suspension, brakes, wheels/tire combos.....The car absolutely turns heads everywhere it goes.  It was built to be a nice classic style that will look great for decades, not just a trendy look that is old in a few years.  The Mach Z trips up most people, either "I've seen lots of Mach 1's, but never a Mach Z" or "my buddy had a Mach Z in high school"...  Of course this is the 1 and only 1973 Mach Z mustang.  People wave and thumbs up on the highway, they stop at gas stations, take pictures, and the car is received very well at any outing, including shows.  We earned a couple trophies at shows, but never hit the show scene very much.  The car has been driven from Iowa to Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Alabama, Texas, New Mexico to Montana, Wyoming, lots of national parks, and Nascar Races, Nevada, and all over the middle of the country.  We did the full Hot Rod Power Tour in 2004 from Texas to Wisconsin and both my boys drove it to their Junior and Senior Proms...  It's an eager driver and will run with most anything on the road.  Just grab a couple gears.Contact me before buying, no scams, no help in selling..  I have had my time with this car and it is time to go to someone else to enjoy.  We've enjoyed building it, modifying it, and driving it for over 15 years and 65000 miles, and having the kids grow up with the car.  Buy it young, and have the kids enjoy it while they are still kids...  I would hop in this car right now and drive it anywhere in the country.  Literally.  I will be happy to work with anyone serious about the purchase in regards to pickup/delivery and payment.  The title is clear and available, and the car is fully licensed.
