1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback – extremely rare S Code 390 V8 3-speed car – 1 of 861 made. This is the perfect car for a full restoration, for an Eleanor/Bullitt clone, or to drive it as is. You don't find many complete, unrestored 67 GT S codes with a clean and clear title that you can get in and drive. It has been a Midwest car since new, so there is rust present underneath and on the body. I would have the brakes gone through and the carb replaced before doing extensive driving, but it does start, run, drive, and stop as it is. The exterior is currently wearing a bright yellow amateur paint job, along with fiberglass rear fender flares. I have tried to show the exterior condition in pictures the best that I can. You can still see the original, beautiful Nightmist Blue exterior paint color in the trunk (seen in photo). The interior is complete with the exception of the center console. The AM radio works, all lights and turn signals work. I believe all seats and interior panels are original, but they were been painted at some point with black vinyl paint. I removed the black paint from the passenger door panel, and you can see the original blue interior color (also seen in photo). All of the glass is good also. The heads were refurbished in 2006, along with a general tune up, and the car has been driven maybe 2,000 miles since. The block is not numbers matching, but the heads are original. The 3-speed manual transmission is original also. There is currently a 428 police interceptor intake on the engine, but I also have a cast iron 1968 390 intake that goes with the car. There is a Holley 4-barrel carb on it currently that is also not correct for the car. The original air cleaner is also included (pictured), but I currently run an Edelbrock air cleaner on the car, as the original does not fit the Holley carb. The car has been in the family for over 20 years and has been stored indoors during that time. I am the current owner since 2005 and have the Marti Report and letter from Ford verifying the details of the car. The original factory buck tag is still attached to the car, which is very rare to find as well. Reach out with any questions, to see additional photos, or if there is a specific photo you would like taken.
