ABOUT THE CAR:45,618 Actual mile 1970 Corvette. This is true actual mileage car, NOT exempt. Look at image of the title provided. $44,000 price is negotiable, make offer. This car was sold new at Fairchild Chevrolet in Lakewood, Ohio. It is the correct GM code 982 Donnybrooke Green with the correct GM code 418 Saddle interior. This is a very rare color combo! This car is believed to still retains its factory interior items such as dash pad, seat covers, door panels, etc installed by GM in 1970 (51 years ago). This is a very special optioned car loaded down--look for another 1970 with the combination of its FACTORY OPTIONS such as power windows, tilt and telescopic wheel, AM/FM radio, air conditioning ,power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes,4-speed Muncie transmission,  factory anit-theft alarm system and of course the 350hp 380ft lbs torque engine-- I have not seen another like it! This car also was 4-wheel factory disc brakes, removable rear window, and T-tops. And with under 46,000 actual miles is a cherry on top! Also retaining the factory color matching trim tag data plate is a rarity in itself 51 years removed now in 2021. The Vin in both the transmission and engine block matches VIN plate and match the Vin on the clean and clear title. It gets better, this car was ordered from GM with a special factory 11.0:1 compression ratio engine that came from GM with 4 bolt main block, 1182 forged steel crankshaft, forged 11.0:1 dome pistons, #186 double hump heads, and 4-barrel carburetor). This was the nearly the same engine as the infamous LT1 370hp but with the 350hp hydraulic cam. This is the highest horsepower small block GM ever offered by GM in the muscle car era with a hydraulic cam for those who do not want to be bothered with the hassle of solid lifters. This car is projected to be complete the end of August 2021. The engine is presently receiving a full freshening including new .030 over 11.0:1 pistons, new rings and bearings seals and gaskets, new cam and lifters, cylinder head valve job and new valve springs and new valves. A duplicate of GM's #3863151 350hp hydraulic lifter camshaft was installed. One more time if you missed this: this is an actual mileage car, NOT Exempt. Clean Indiana title issued in 2020 with mileage as Actual on front of title. This is a very special investment grade car! It is getting almost impossible to find these sort of cars any more at a reasonable price. Hagerty values this car with its factory options at more than $69,000.00 if it were improved to #1 concours condition. And this does not factor in the "actual" mileage and other strengths of this car--so this car has a lot of potential for the next owner. Make an offer--this car will likely not last long! This is 50+ year old car. Do not expect brand new. If you want a brand new car buy a 2021. This is used classic collector car with many very original appearing attributes.DRIVING AND OTHER INFORMATION:Photos outside in grass taken 9/3/2021 at Auburn IN car event, other photos taken late August 2021. I drove the car there and back and did NOT trailer it (Around 50 miles).  Ran good and shifted nice. Used the pop up head lights on the way home as it was getting dark and they worked flawlessly. Car did not over heat even though it was VERY hot day even running it 70mph on interstate without overdrive on the 4 speed Muncie. The Muncie trans with Hurst shifter shifted for me perfectly and clutch feels excellent.  Brakes work great and do not pull. Car's alignment tracks nicely. Horn works, temp gauge works, fuel gauge works, interior lights work. Turn signals work. Speedometer works. Tires have very good tread and set them all at 40psi before going on the trip. Fresh oil change  9/2/2021 with Lucas oil stabilizer added. The car received a professional detail on 9/2/2021.I am the 2nd owner of this Corvette according to title history. I see no evidence it has ever been involved in an accident. The doors open and shut beautifully which is hard to get on a C3. Likely because panel fitment has not been messed with and is as GM set it up in 1970. Panel fitment is very good on the car. Hood opens and closes nicely.TERMS AND CONDITIONS/DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS: THIS CAR IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION IN PERSON AT ANGOLA INDIANA ZIP CODE 46703 BY APPOINTMENT. $2000 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PURCHASE WHETHER BY BEST OFFER OR THE BUY IT NOW.
