Heres the basics on our Silver Shadow, a genuine sub 45k miles from new with good constant history throughout, so she is a very nice genuine old thing, to take to the next level, or use as is, it is priced to sell,

It is a very nice original car, that has been used sparingly in the last 49 years, it drives very well, and with recent brake work, stops too!

I've owned it since 2014 and acquired it at 38,994 miles, it now reads 44,805 but that's likely to increase slightly as I am using her

Recent works include Brake pump works and service from Colbrooks plus last year brake accumulators and carburettor balancing

The car presents well, although it will have had paint in the past, there are some small marks and bubbling on the top of a couple of the doors, but these have not deteriorated much during our ownership.

Inside the car has a lovely patina, and to me is better for it,  the woodwork on the doors is good, and it is good on the dash, but again not perfect, and would improve with a simple sand and relaquer.

Since acquisition, ( apart from servicing ) the brake pumps overhauled, plus new accumulators,  door capping's done

The Central locking and all 4 windows work ( when the car is used regularly )

New tyres all round in 2016

The only non standard things on the car are as follows

leather wrap on the steering wheel, a period accessory to add feel to the wheel..

Federal high level brake light, and side markers during her time in the USA

Upgraded the sound system to a period looking CD / Bluetooth unit that allows hands free calling, plus upgraded all 4 speakers, so the sound is brill..

Things she needs to improve

Pinstripe painting on the side

Wipers fixing ( we have traced this and depending on the sale price we will get this done.. )

Leather softening, and re-connolising with a Woollies kit  if you wanted to improve

There is a slight exhaust blow.

Passengers side front door rubber needs fitting and depending on the sale price we will get this done..

In teh listing, where we quote a mileage. there will be a piece of documentation to verify the mileage

I have over 70 photos of the car, and can send these over via email.

the car always gets admiring looks, and has been used for PR work such as The Krays press launch, as well as The Crown ( briefly!)

it is priced to sell, but please no timewasters

The car is advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end the auction early (only if it has no bidders)
