NOW SOLD (DEPOSIT TAKEN)*****Please note this car is in Northern Ireland approx. 1 hour from airports and ferry ports. Viewing is welcome however the car cannot be driven home (see below). Alternatively I can assist with delivery which can be facilitated to anywhere in UK by a local car transportation specialist for around £250-£300 depending on location*****

Rare early production June 1982 Porsche 944 for sale (this car will be 40 years old next year and therefore be exempt from MOT & Tax).

This has the 2.5 litre 8 valve engine (Porsche engine not VW). The clock reads 47,000 miles but I'm assuming this is 147k miles.

*****Please note this is a running and driving project which needs completing*****

It was repainted a few years ago and only partially finished before being put into dry storage. It will need finishing off (rubbers refitted (all present), electrics, wiring etc etc). The car starts and drives absolutely fine and the complete drivetrain is in perfect order with no noises or fluid leaks. However the brakes will need attention as the foot pedal is very soft so the braking system will need to be bled at the very least.

It has also been fitted with genuine used Porsche 996 turbo “twist” design alloys with new tyres - these are in great condition with very little kerbing.

The black leather interior of the car is in great condition throughout with no rips or tears.

The underside of the car is completely solid with no rot whatsoever and it has been treated with wax-oil (see pictures). It has had some welding done in the past as expected but does not seem to have needed very much.

The car has not seen tarmac since 2008 and will obviously need to be recommissioned before going back on the road. Also the V5 has been lost and will need to be applied for.

These cars are rising in value by the day with some mint examples fetching £15k plus. Early production cars such as this which qualify for the mot & tax exemption scheme are particularly rare.

No doubt genuinely interested parties will have plenty more enquiries so get in touch and I will answer any questions for you. Also I have some good comprehensive walk-around and driving videos of the car which can be forwarded via WhatsApp.

Due to scam callers I won't be posting my number on here but send me a message and I'll send it to genuine ebayers, or send me your contact number and I'll call you back or send the videos of the car by WhatsApp, many thanks.
