A nice solid USA imported back to the UK E-type Series 2 2+2 Coupe left hand drive, in Regency Red with black leather interior built in March 1969. Has a 4.2 litre engine with automatic gearbox. Has full heritage certificate confirming all matching numbers as the original build. Certificate number 61244
Little is known of her history; she was brought by me through a UK agent from California. I believe she spent most of her life in Los Angeles and spent 2002-2017 covered in a garage.
On coming back to the UK, I spent a couple of years re-commissioning and bringing her back to life and since May 2020 have used her regularly each week as a full running vehicle. I am happy to drive her to London for business meetings, on the motorways cruising at 70mph, driving 60–80-mile round trips with no problems. Recently a friend borrowed her, and over a weekend drove 310 miles trouble free. Since commissioning and using her, she has become better and better and settled into a lovely car. This is a very good condition usable rolling restoration, which could easily become concourse. There is almost no rust, they are odd spots of surface rust around the doors etc nothing serious. Currently not bad but does need a new fuel tank. This is due to be done next month when it is serviced. If a MOT is required will happily have done, as an historical vehicle this is not legally required. Currently agreed insurance value of £57,000.00
