Welcome to the sale of my 1964.5 ConvertibleA truly exciting chance to own a piece of history.I have owned this car for 2 years, I purchased 2 classic restoration Mustangs, I have finished the other one but i have my eye on another project, so im testing the water with selling the convertible.This car has been dry stored for the past 10 years so its very dry, it does come with some further useful parts to aid putting it back together. Its fully UK registered and has been for over a decade. V5 is pressent, regisered as 1968 as imports used to be given random year registraion by the DVLA years ago.This is a full restoration project and will need some major welding doing. I have priced all the panels that need replacing and for £5,000 this car can be fully panelled. These cars are currently selling for between £20,000 - £50,000 completed. My other Mustang in similar condition was welded up in just 3 weeks. All panels and parts are available for these online. You can even buy a complete shell now if you dont want to tackle the welding.There is no engine with the car, its a rolling shell.The car does require a full restoration but is shooting up in value currently and is ever increasingly rare. A great investment in one of the most recognisable cars in the world. You dont get the chance at a true project like this at a realistic price.The price is sensible, im not accepting offers.
