Unfortunately I am selling my 55 gasser. One of my buddies who builds cars professionally did all the frame, suspension and engine work. He did a phenomenal job of getting the car set up correctly. I was able to help finish up the body work and we painted it in my garage. We are no professionals but I think it turned out decent for a garage paint job. It could still use some wet sanding and buffing in a few spots. I think if you did that it would come out great. My buddy was not going to run a back seat, I was going to put one in but never located one yet. so it is still a hole where the seat goes back to the trunk.. It has a 496 stroker engine with Tunnel ram, dual Holley 650 carburetors. Ram racing hydraulic throwout bearing, centerforce dual friction clutch,Narrowed 1969 Dana 60 with converted sealed axle bearingsRebuilt M22Super Competition Plus shifter ( reverse lock out )Everything in engine except block is new.Billet roller camBrodix race rite rectangular port headsEagle rotating assembly with H beam rodsBillet timing setMSD pro billet distributor and BoxHolley Black electric pumpGilmer belt driveAluminum radiator with electric fan and shroudTri 5 Chevy truck drilledfront axle and springs3inch exhaustRestored 63-64 SS Impala bucket seatsEvery nut, bolt, screw and fastener new.All rubber seals/gaskets replaced.Frame stripped, primed and painted. I have put less than 50 miles on it since we got it going, the only issue that have came up is the belt has came loose a couple times I would recommend upgrading the brackets for the alternator. I did put a shorter belt on it the last time after it came loose and it seems to work better but it still probably needs a better alternator bracket. And the filler neck leaks where it goes into the tank when you fill it up. I replaced this gasket a second time but it still leaks, I have not wired up the lights yet I have some of the old wiring but I would recommend new stuff, I have the headliner bows but I have not got a headliner yet. A few minor issues could pop up because I haven't put a ton of miles on it yet, but this is one badass gasser! Not one thing left untouched. It gets lots of looks and thumbs up. See and hear the truck run on YouTube at https://youtu.be/FKd1JUgeX38
