About this vehicleThis 1970 Cadillac Hearse is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows.

Vehicle Details

1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse. This car was made on the factory line to be either a Hearse or an Ambulance, and has traits of both. It is a very, very rare car. Milage is ACTUAL and has only been driven just over 19k miles in its lifespan. The car was made and used for 30+ years by a church in New Mexico and was taken out of service after that time to be replaced with a newer car.

The engine has been completely gone through with all new seals throughout. Lines, batteries, cables, pullies, electric wiring, air hoses, plugs, wires, carb, air cleaner and so much more have already been done under the hood. I would drive this car anywhere. Tranny is a perfect, factory 3 speed automatic with zero issues. You will NOT have any issues with the motor or tranny, mounts or electrical. Under the hood is dirty, but excellent shape.

We have installed a complete airbag setup that will allow you to slam the Dead Sled to the ground while parked at shows. I would suggest the new owner to install shock absorbers, as the ride is bouncy to me (doesn't affect handling, just your coffee).

All lights and horn work. Headlights are red angel eyes and look crazy cool at night.

The body has been worked on by a pro, but over the last year, some areas show signs of cracking. Very easy fix for anyone who's ever done any type of fill work. Very minor body work will be needed to make this perfect for paint. Right now it is covered in a dark gray primer sealing coat. Looks very cool as is!

True Player knock off rims at 18" on new tires with about 900 miles on them. Key for rims is included.

The interior will need a little time with minor parts needing to be purchased still, if you want it perfect. Items like corner molding and window rubber which can be found at almost any junk yard across the nation for these old cars.

Any other questions, please ask. Feel free to come see the car or have your mechanic go through it.

Sales are FINAL.

The Dead Sled is over 50 years old. It's not a luxury car and won't get you the hot chic at the party, unless shes thw hot chic who dresses in all black and listens to Slayer. If YOU are that hot chic and drive this car, men will fall at your feet. This car gets so much attention when driving it's almost comical but you will be the talk of the town and you will love having something to talk about with everyone, every time you stop.

Please keep in mind, the images you see are of a VERY DIRTY car, take some time to clean it once you get it home a you'll see an even better looking car. I'm just lazy and didnt feel like cleaning it for pics.

I used this car almost exclusively as a show piece for my business, for fun on Friday nights, for others to enjoy at Halloween parties and for dropping off nieces and nephews at school. What will you use it for?
