Here we have for sale/auction this beautiful  classic Rover P5 Mark III, 3 Litre, manual gearbox. It has working Overdrive, POWER STEERING and massive Service History.

This was the car choice of prime ministers and heads of states, back in the days, proof of its sublime ride and comfort!

The car belongs to my best client, for which I restored quite a few cars now, plus a few to follow, as he owns a good collection of classics.

Last car we restored and sold, at a proper auction in London, ended up with a private collector in Hong Kong!!! (Mercedes 500SE).

He's owned the Rover for the past 21 years. The body was restored around 11 years ago and pretty much dry stored since (not used much).

There's NO RUST on the car. Underneath it's pretty much perfect/factory, not your usual patched pile of rust. Just did a freshening up here and there, so it's all nice and clean!

The outside paint is very presentable, as you can see and polished up really nice.

The interior is all original, with a lovely patina which we decided to preserve.

The engine, all mechanics and electrics are NOW as they should be, as I'VE JUST COMPLETED A £2K (in parts) + 222 HOURS (labour) FULL RECOMMISSIONING!!! This process is all documented with invoices and over 300 pictures and videos!!! (included in the sale).

THE RESERVE IS SET UP TO WHAT THE CAR OWES HIM UP TO THIS POINT, SO PLEASE BID ON IT IF YOU'RE AFTER A GOOD AND SORTED ONE, OTHERWISE WILL PUT IT BACK UP AS AN ADVERT, FOR MORE MONEY (market value)! GRAB IT NOW!

THINGS JUST DONE/RECOMMISSIONING:

Underside cleaning and freshening up/underseal.

All brakes cleaned/greased/fluid replaced.

Complete running gear inspection/greased.

Complete fuel system clean up/inspection.

Full carburetor rebuild.

All coolant pipes and hoses replaced.

Top engine rebuilt (properly), with head and manifolds skimmed + polished valves with new seats and stem valves, new bolts and all new gaskets!

Full engine service, with the best products available.

All new ignition timing components.

Engine and carburetor tune up.

Refurbished water pump, with new pulley + bearings + seals.

Although the engine is running at normal temperature, installed a Kenlowe thermal electric fan kit, for future peace of mind!

Complete exhaust system removed/resealed.

Gearbox linkages replaced.

Gearbox and differential inspection/top up.

Power steering oil and filler replaced.

All fluids changed!

All electrics sorted/checked/tested.

Refurbished dinamo and new voltage regulator.

Full interior and exterior valet.

Interior leather treatment/balm.

"Under bonnet " general freshening up.

Chrome polished.

New battery.

New MOT (NO ADVISORY).

Loads of other small bits and bobs.

In conclusion, a very nice looking and mended P5, that runs like a dream and purrs like a kitty.
