Honda jumped into the US market with a bang in the late 70's and never looked back as they were offering reliable, inexpensive and gas efficient vehicles. These little vehicles were sporty with plenty of room for a family and luggage. With gas mileage averaging about 31mpg these were a smart choice and still are today.

Very pleased to bring to market is this gorgeous 1983 Honda Civic 1500DX hatchback with just over 80k miles. Vehicle was purchased new out of Hinshaw's Honda in 1983 and then was routinely service by the wife and husband at their local Honda dealer, Lynwood Honda in Bothell Washington. The car carries service records and registration from 1983 all the way to the mid 90's. Vehicle remained in the original owner's household till 2017.

This car is a true time capsule and is extremely well kept and serviced routinely. The car runs and drives very nice and handles the road with ease. Vehicle had a new price tag of $6,318 and was nicely equipped for the time with; rear window defrost, rear wiper, intermittent front wipers, tinted glass, locking fuel door, vinyl wrapped steering wheel, power steering, 3spd automatic transmission, 13in steel wheels with trim rings, and AM radio.

During our test drive the car performed as it should with quick turns, plenty of acceleration and features working properly. The horn, lights, wipers, stereo and cigarette lighter all were working properly and a fun car to drive. Most of these were eaten up by rust or driven till they died. This is a great opportunity to have a fun and enjoyable car that is destined to increase in value but also provide carefree miles.
