This car is from the estate of a local Ford enthusiast who recently passed away. The three Ford products were his cherished possessions and have been extremely well kept. They have been garage stored and well maintained. They are stock except for the exhaust which he liked a bit louder than normal.

This 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible was purchased a long time ago by the parents of the deceased. He inherited the car and kept the tradition of using this vehicle for parades and was in local car shows. This beauty has the massive 430 Ford V8 with the automatic transmission.

It appears to have had some paintwork but believe much of it may be original paint (no guarantees). It sports a black leather interior and we believe the mileage to be original. Specs on this beauty can be found at www. oldride. com/library/1964_lincoln_continental. html

Mechanically. this vehicle is surprisingly clean and tight. and runs. However. we did notice a bit of fuel leaking around the carb. It floats down the road and is super quiet. The doors work well and we are surprised how clean this car is.

We did not try and operate the top for fear of getting it back up. Anyone purchasing this car can play with this top after purchase. We cannot warranty the car or the complex nature of the top operation.

Note that we have no way to gauge the originality or the underbody condition other than the photos. Please see the photos showing a bit of corrosion in the rocker areas. It is far better than most but it is there.

We cannot warranty any parts and as with any vintage vehicle. they are always a project in some way. Please note this before bidding if you are looking for a vehicle that will operate like a new vehicle. Collector cars are many times tempermental and reliability can be a factor on some. We also did not test each accessory or feature. and only drove the vehicle for a short distance.

Any of these should be trailered to their destination until the vehicle is checked over for safety (tires. etc). The title is free and clear. and we are also requiring a bill of sale be signed by the new owner stating this car is being purchased as-is. It is being sold to settle an estate.

It is a straight car as you can see in the photos. The colors are great and it is very old school. As stated. it gets a ton of attention and would make a great addition to your collection.

Please call our store at (414) 727-0600 for additional information on this vehicle. Best of all. we are selling this beauty with NO RESERVE. but do reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally. Good luck in the auction.
