Unlike the "brokers and consignment" places out there we OWN 100 PERCENT OF OUR CLASSIC CAR INVENTORY. It's our opinion that if you are not willing to own it then you shouldn't sell it. Period.Completely nut and bolt restored, this is one stunning 71 W30 convertible. For the record, Oldsmobile produced 78 W30 convertibles in 1971. How many do you think came with factory air? I'll bet not many... Power windows, power top, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, Hurst His and Hers -man oh man great equipment.This 442 has been completed to a very high level- the pictures are a very accurate description of the quality of the restoration. We first saw this car up on a lift and there was very little doubt in our minds after spending 5 minutes underneath that we knew what the topside was going to look like and we were not disappointed. The car has been restored and finished as a beautiful silver over parchment car which in our opinion is a vast improvement over the brown/brown color combination it was built as.For a quick walkaround it sounds like a broken record- Paint and body- Stunning. Chrome- Stunning. Interior- Stunning. Convertible top- Stunning. Engine compartment -- Stunning. Trunk- Stunning. Underside- Stunning.For the record the build sheet does not show air-conditioning but there is no doubt this was built as a factory air car- everything is correct and we're betting as the 2nd car built that this car was a build it as it goes car.Having said all of the above we will also state that we are not Oldsmobile experts. We do however consider ourselves to be classic car experts. This is one beautiful car. If you are an Oldsmobile "expert" and want to tell us there is a bolt head that is wrong please skip it- life's too short. Hagerty Valuations put this car at 179K Concours, 146K Excellent and 120K Good. We have priced this car below excellent value even though we believe the quality and rarity of this 442 surpass and "excellent" description.Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet....
