There is enough evidence to see that this model was a European model.   (Lights were converted to the US version. as well as the speedometer).
Here we have a 280SL "Pagoda" with original fenders factory weld spots.   The car is an original 462 color code.
It originally had A/C. because we can see the bracket and front condenser and parts still attached to the car.   It would be a good time to install and A/C unit and save a few dollars.
Runs and drives. we cleaned the gas tank. rebuild the fuel pump. and replaced both fuel filters.
The interior carpet and MB Text seats are all original.
The chrome overall is very clean.
The floors are original with a small patch done in the center section of the driver side between the front floor and rear floor.
The soft top is very nice.
The paint does have some flaws in a few areas. but this is a good candidate for a partial restoration.
Trunk floor is original. and was cleaned up. since he did have the usual surface rust due to the humidity caught between the floor and rubber mat.
The upper dash does have the usual crack which tells me that it has never been redone.
