My loss is your gain. I found an eBay car that was the same year, model, and color as I had in high school, and in a rush, I bought it without a lot of questions. It was my understanding that there was zero rust and mechanically sound, which was not the case, although I certainly paid that kind of price for it. The last 6 pics show the rust that's starting, although nothing that is anywhere close to going through. I am simply not interested in body work. There are also a few other issues, its missing the passenger side rear view mirror, windshield wiper motor, and the interior is tired in general. I have since spent thousands getting this car to a daily driver condition for the next owner. 134k miles. This car is located in Howell, MI. $4,900 firm video here https://youtu.be/rTVpWBOyTGI Please reach out to me at 810 599 6589.Work performed so far as follows

- Compressions test dead cold was good at cyl 1 - 125 psi, cyl 2 - 121 psi, cyl 3 - 115 psi, cyl 4 - 115 psi

- Rebuilt and tested ignition control module from Einmalig

- I did an EGR delete and machined a blocking plate along with caps for all other vacuum hoses that are not used.

- New ignition switch

- New .4 ohm and .6 ohm ballast resistors

- New cap and rotor

- New plug wires

- New Porsche spark plugs

- New timing belt

- New timing belt idler pulley

- New alternator belt

- New water pump

- New thermostat

- New Porsche classic coolant

- New Porsche oil and filter

- New fuel pump

- New air filter

- New intake boots

- Refurbished throttle body

- Refurbished wheels

- the previous owner stated that it has a new clutch, new tires, and brake fluid flush and other brake fittings replace. I can't verify the new clutch, but it feels good. The tires are certainly new, and I do see new brake fittings under the master cylinder.

- There are spare parts in the back seat including an NGK coil that was supposed to be for my model, but the center post is too tall for the plug to reach.

- Various adjustments performed by Munk's Motors to get the engine running smooth. Set timing, adjusted fuel distributor, oil change, spark plugs installed, and more.
