hello and welcome to my auction for my mk 2 escort estate. where do i begin. ive had this car for about 4 months. i bought it to freshen up and use as a daily while i laid my mk1 escort up for the winter. recently i acquired a mk 1 cortina with tax and test so thats my new daily. haha. anyways since I've had the mk 2 I've bought a full custom made recaro interior for it. this is the selling point for me as it cost in excess of £1500 just for that!!!!it consists of 90spec recaros recovered in red nappa leather rear seats recovered to match. door cards recovered to match. rear boot area been re carpeted it looks the dogs bollocks!!the car has original engine (1300) has been converted to unleaded by previous owner it runs and drives without fault on choke or not. has polished rs 4 spokes on it really good condition. single leaf springs with 2" lowering blocks. front has standard suspension as seen in pics but recently bought some -2" springs from rally design will be included in sale. has upgraded brakes on front. for its test it needed a front track rod end and a few patches on the sill. before this it has had work to the floors and sills by previous owner.  it was painted by the previous owner about 1 year before i bought it. very presentable. under bonnet area hasn't been painted so this will need addressing. also have a spare exhaust. the one on it knocks accasionaly on gearbox mounting. new one would cure this. this car has tax till 02 14 test till 08 14
overall this car is ready to drive away. i have various parts ( zetec. type 9 etc ) that are available for sale separately
