Mileage:

This COPO tribute has just finished an intense nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration. Over 3,500 hours were invested in making this car better than it was new. Only 3 miles since finished. It comes with a thick stack of receipts. The original build sheet, window sticker and protect-o-plate are included too.

EXTERIOR: Absolutely pristine fit and finish. The gaps fit precisely. Every square inch of the body is laser straight with no issues. There's no damage, bubbles or cracks anywhere. It was born Garnet red without a vinyl top. Every square inch of the paint is a glass finish, I didn't find any shrinkage or flaws. The stripes are painted smooth to the touch. Even the jambs are just as slick as the outside. The hinges were rebuilt. All new weatherstrips and window seals. The stainless trim is polished like chrome. The bumpers have show plating. The emblems, mirrors, handles, marker lights, taillights and grill are new. New reproduction SS wheels 15x7 inch in front, 15x8 in back with a set of BF Goodrich tires.

INTERIOR: Down on the floor it has new carpet and reproduction rubber floor mats. It has a full set of it's original GM seat belts. The seats have been reupholstered. The door panels, armrests, window cranks and handles are all new. It has a rebuilt tilt column and reproduction steering wheel. New set of factory gauges and tachometer. The instrument panel is new, the heater control panel is clean. It has an original am radio. Dash pad is new. The visors, headliner and mirror are new, the dome light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Highly detailed, it's pristine. The motor was completely rebuilt, we have itemized receipts. The machine shop started with a 454 block and built it to 427 specs. All premium parts- Eagle crank and rods, SRP pistons etc. New Merlin heads, correct aluminum GM intake with a new Holley carb. New stock exhaust manifolds were Jet Hot coated. Original valve covers were rechromed. It has correct shields around the spark plugs, correct spring clamp battery cables. New set of deep groove pulleys. The shroud, clutch fan and radiator are new. New wiper motor, the squirters are all hooked up. Cadmium plated power brake booster, it also features power steering. The bottom of the hood is just as glossy is the top, has hood insulation. The engine bay is smooth metal painted satin black. This is a very meticulously detailed engine compartment. Still fresh like it was done yesterday.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Immaculate metal. It's been very neatly spatter painted. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are just as slick as the car. It has a restored rim and a reproduction tire for a spare. Correct jack assembly looks new. Reproduction stickers, weather strip, trunk mat and wiring harness.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath this car is pristine, nicer than the top sides of most show cars. The chassis was removed from the body and completely disassembled. Every component was restored, rebuilt or replaced. Every front end component including ball joints, bushings, springs, center link, tie rods, spindles have all been replaced. Rebuilt steering box. In back it has boxed control arms, new bushings, shocks and springs. It has a concourse reproduction Gardner exhaust system with chrome cowbell tips. The brake system has been 100% restored, it is disc in front. All new fuel system including the tank, straps, sending unit and fuel lines. Looking up at the motor it is immaculate, rebuilt starter new motor mounts. The turbo 400 automatic trans is professionally rebuilt, it has a 2200 stall and shift kit. Custom built and balanced drive shaft. Rebuilt 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears. The floors under this car are pristine. They're literally painted just as smooth and glossy as the body. The chassis and body were reunited with new bushings. It is meticulously detailed.

If you want a fresh, highly detailed car nice enough to park in your living room, this is the car. Your getting the car for free, you are only paying for a fraction of the labor!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
