We are pleased to offer for sale a Daytona Yellow 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe LS5 Numbers Matching Big Block 454CI/390HP with only 23K documented original miles and working factory air conditioning!! This 1970 Corvette has a great history to it and from what we can tell it is a true 3 owner car! This Corvette features a lot of factory options including a 454CI/390HP LS5 Big Block Motor Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission Power Windows Factory Air Conditioning Tilt/Tele Steering Wheel Power Steering and more!! Finished in Daytona Yellow this Corvette shows excellent with only minimal wear present some areas show signs of repaint however we do not believe the entire car has been repainted. Matching to the trim tag as paint code 984 this was used on less than 11% of Corvettes in 1970 according to the Corvette Black book and this really makes this car special! The chrome bumpers mirrors and side pipes all show excellent with a deep shine and no pitting or signs of wear present. The black vinyl interior shows excellent again with the carpeting dash area console and gauges all functioning properly. From what we can figure out this car was produced sometime in April of 1970. The story beings in Miami Beach Florida where the original owner ordered the car from he was from Pittsburgh but wanted the car at his Florida residence the customer copy of the cashiers check goes along with the sale. Afterwards he sold the car to the local Chevrolet Dealer Nick Chevrolet which is still in existence. They sold the car to the second owner who retained nearly every years registration cards as well as a booklet with the service they had performed. In the late 90s it was then acquired by the 3rd owner who used the car sparingly had the light respray performed and only put a minimal number of miles on. Whenever we acquired the car we had it completely gone over and had service including A/C Overhaul Power Window Repair Radiator Rebuild to OEM Standards Replacing Coolant Lines etc! With two pumps of the gas this car fires right up with no hesitation the side pipes start roaring and youll be excited to start cruising down the road! The PA Title still shows the mileage as actual and we have no reason to doubt that it is correct and that this is a real deal numbers matching 454CI Big Block we welcome any perspective buyers to have the car inspected by a professional for verification before purchase. Included in the sale are the original documents as well as the yearly registration cards original manuals however the names are blacked out for privacy reasons.
