Mileage:

Only 3,400 miles since this truck's been built from the ground up. Meticulously done. It's a cruiser with some muscle.

EXTERIOR: Absolutely no rust or damage. It's all new metal except for the original cab which is completely solid. It has a smooth, glossy paint. All of the glass is replaced with a soft tint, all new gaskets. Every piece of chrome is new including window frames, door handles, front bumper, grill, headlight bezels, turn signals, mirror, wiper arms and tail lights. The rear bumper was removed for a cleaner look. The 15 inch Weld Racing wheels are polished brightly and are wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires.

INTERIOR: The inside of the cab was completely painted smooth, gloss white. The dash panel and door inserts are painted metallic gray. Down on the floor is new carpet and matching floor mats. It has a handmade wooden console in between two comfortable buckets seats. Each one has retractable shoulder belts. In front of me is a sharp looking custom gauge cluster with tachometer, a tilt column and Vintage Air climate controls. The vents are neatly mounted below the dash. Everything looks new from the knobs, window cranks, door handles and armrests to the day-night mirror, new visors and a headliner.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Performance built 454 motor bored 30 over. It has forged pistons, crank and rods. On top is a Wieand Stealth intake with a Sniper Holley electronic fuel injection system. It also has a Sniper Hyper Spark coil with a billet distributor. It has a set of headers. The front of the motor has a billet timing cover, March bracket and pulleys with a serpentine belt system. The Vintage Air heat and a/c system has a mini polished compressor. It has a new alternator. The truck runs cool with a big radiator that has an aluminum shroud, a big electric fan and an aluminum overflow bottle. It has a modern power steering system with a remote reservoir and braided stainless hoses. It also has a power brake system. There are new hinges, the engine bay is all painted smooth gloss white.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The bed floor is made up of refinished oak boards with stainless strips and hardware. The fuel filler has been relocated, flush mounted on the floor. It has wider wheel wells for the massive tires. A car cover is included too.

UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor has an extra capacity oil pan. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a finned aluminum pan, shift kit and external cooler. Custom driveshaft from Driveshaft Specialties. In back is a narrowed Ford 9 inch rear end with 4.11 gears. Up front is an 1972 Impala clip with independent suspension, it's all rebuilt. The frame is original, it's been boxed. In back is a i
four link suspension, with a panhard bar and coilover shocks. An Optima battery is mounted under the truck. It has 3 inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers that dumps out right before the rear end.

This is a meticulously built truck. The closer I looked the more impressed I was. It has big block muscle with a tough pro street but you can still enjoy cruising with the air on!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
