This is a one of kind RestoMod 1971 Chevrolet C10. The project started with a solid farm fresh truck from Wyoming. The truck was repainted in the 70's from it's original Ochre Yellow/White to it's current Golden Brown color.  On the outside, the truck has an incredible patina from mother nature and the perfect amount of wear and use that everyone is trying copy. The cab/bed and front clip were removed and the chassis was cleaned and painted black. The truck was originally a long bed, it was cut/boxed the frame and cut the box down in both the front and back to retain the look and to make a proper short bed. The cuts in the bed were left natural and are now part of the patina on the truck. The wood in the bed is original from 1971. The floor pans are like new and still have factory paint on them. The back of the truck has 4" drop springs from Brothers and the front springs were cut to level the truck. There is a new wiring harness from the cab back and also in the front for the LS1 conversion. The old 350 was removed and the engine bay/firewall were completely redone which makes this truck a complete sleeper from the outside. The firewall was cleaned and smoothed and custom hand-built sheet-metal covers were added to the sides of the engine compartment and along the top of the grill/radiator.  Mounted a new Wildwood Brake master cylinder with proportioning valve that works great and keeps the look clean. The LS1 is mated to a 4L60e electronic transmission and runs and shifts perfect. The plastic covers on the motor were all removed, the engine was painted black and orange, and added details like the custom painted vintage Chevy valve covers to give a period look. The motor blows people away every time when the hood is opened. It includes a new dual electric fan set-up to ensure it always runs cool. The fuel tank in the cab was removed and replaced with a new tank under the bed along with new fuel regulator and fuel pump for the LS1. The motor includes new headers and it was finished with a complete new custom 3" exhaust that provides just the right amount of sound outside the truck. The inside of the truck has new carpet, new dash pad, new headliner, visors and includes a vintage GM steering wheel, custom painted gauges and custom pin striping that matches the hood and tailgate. There are 3-point seat belts for the driver and passenger and a center belt for the 3rd passenger. The door panels are original Cheyenne panels that give it that authentic look and feel. The truck has a vintage GM Custom Mark IV aftermarket air conditioner that is hooked up to the LS1 and blowing cold air. The front glass has a new gasket and new glass, the rear window has a new gasket and the doors both have new seals. Sound deadening material was added to the entire floor and back of the cab, the roof under the headliner and also the doors. The truck is riding on American Racing wheels with good 255/50/17 low profile tires that complete the vintage look. The truck has roughly 4500 miles since the build and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Used mostly as a grocery gitter around town, and a handful of car shows. Cruises smooth as butter at 80mph on the highway.  Bought a house in the mountains and now looking for something with 4WD.  I have some additional pic's of the build for those interested.  Make an offer.
