Up for your consideration is this unique very nice 1963 Impala SS convertible 409 – 425 HP, 4 Spd.

The 1963 Chevrolet Impala was billed by General Motors as the brand's headliner car that offered an “eyeful of style and fleet appearance”. The '63 Impala was dramatically updated with all new sheet metal that provided the car a longer more substantial look. The Impala was offered in several body styles with four V8 engine options, including the powerful 409, which became a legend in its own right. The 409 was Chevrolet's “8-cylinder package of dynamite” 409 / 425 dual quad linked up with a factory 4 speed transmission.

This 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS 425HP Convertible is the total package. Beautiful red with red interior and white convertible top. On the inside of the car, the bucket seats and entire interior are in fantastic condition with RARE Factory Power Windows and power Drivers Seat. Features such as the Factory 7,000 RPM dash mounted tachometer demonstrate how well-equipped this Impala was when delivered new. The original AM Radio has been "souped" up to reverberation stereo system. On the bottom, this Impala's dual exhaust system sounds tremendous, letting folks know that the “409” fender emblems are not there for decoration. Highly restored '63 409 Impala convertibles have become harder to find and this car is an icon that will continue to appreciate. The engine has been rebuilt several years back with quality items and forged pistons, have receipts. The T-10 trans was also rebuilt. The power top works flawless.

Also included are the factory fender skirts in case you prefer that look.
