Vehicle Details

This is a true 1970 Chevrolet Corvette coupe two owner survivor.  Many people drive restored cars but few drive Corvettes that are true survivors with original paint and most original components other than some replaced due to maintenance.  And even then those were replace with new old stock or correct reproductions if possible.  I bought this cat about a year ago from the original purchaser.  He is still available to talk to the buyer about the car if the buyer wishes.  The car is Marlboro maroon with black interior.  It is optioned with 454, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt/tele, AM/FM and automatic transmission.  All items work, even the clock and door buzzer.  There are two issues that need to be addressed the AC needs charging.  It still runs the old type due to NCRS and I will supply a large quantity with the car.  There is also a small leak in the heater core that needs to be repaired.  Other than that the car is in excellent condition for a survivor car.  It has its share of rock chips and bumps that a 50+ year old car would have but it still looks good for its age.  The original owner never even used touch up paint.  It does have one slight bump on the front edge of the driver side of the front bumper that it got during its first year of life.  You don't really notice it and the original owner didn't repair it as he did not want to bother the original paint.  The car has been judged NCRS Top Flight in 2015 and again in 2017 as a survivor.  The owner had the engine overhauled less than 3500 miles ago and did it correctly to protect all numbers, etc.  The car has a new set of Coker wide oval radial tires that look correct with a repro set of rally wheels with less than 200 miles on them.  The NCRS bias wide ovals will also be included with the original steel wheels and the original deluxe wheel covers.  The car is fully documented with the original bill of sale, protecto plate, owner's plastic card, original owners packet and tank sticker.  The original owner also saved all of the maintenace documents for the car and these are included.  This car can be taken to the next level of NCRS or Bloomington status or take care of it and keep it as a true survivor.  As many say, it is only original once.  Please message with questions.  I reserve the right the end this sale at any time.  Vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared.  Forgot to mention that even thought the car is a midwest car, there are no frame issues.  The original owner did not drive the car in the winter on snow or salt.  He put the car up in a heated garage.  The car was taken car of for his entire period of ownership.
