1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible For Sale.  390, C6, Power Steering, Power Brakes - Read to Cruise!

For your consideration is a very nice 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible!The car is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition.A friend of mine has owned this car for over 40 years!It looks great, cruises great and is ready for a new home!I will go through the condition below.

Everything works, it is driven often and very reliable!

Exterior:Finished in a very nice high quality Urethane, the body I true and straight.The paint job is about 15 years old so this is how it will always look, it shines very nicely!The trim and bumpers are in great shape with typical wear.Everything is straight and looks great!The convertible top is in great condition.All of the glass and lenses are clear and crack free.All of the lights work.This is a really good looking car!

Interior:In excellent shape, it is very functional and comfortable.The instrument panel is from a 1964 Mercury, looks great right! The top works very nicely.Everything is functional.The speedometer is intermittent but has worked flawlessly up until this spring.Windows and doors work as they should.The gauges work and are accurate. The heat works well.Its perfect on a nice fall day, top down heat on!

Mechanical: This car is sorted out and fun!The Galaxie starts up quick, idles nicely, runs VERY STRONG.It shifts great, stops and handles very nicely.The car has 85,000 but the drivetrain has less than half of that.The 390 and C6 are from a 1968 Galaxie.That's right!The car has been upgraded from a 352 Cruise-O-Matic to a 390 C6.390, C6 and 9” rear = one of the toughest drive trains around! Power steering and power brakes make the car very easy to drive. The engine is very quiet up front but the dual exhaust sound GREAT!It's a very strong runner!  Many of the serviceable items on the car have been replaced over the years and are in great or new condition.  The fluids are fresh and topped off, ready for a new home!

Usability:The car is stout and a blast to drive!Its very reliable and fun to drive.The frame has been professionally reinforced and is very rigid.You could use this car as a daily driver or just cruise it around to you local car cruises and events.It would make a great ice-cream getter!

This car is awesome and will treat you right but, it's a 1964 so its sold with no warranty or guarantee's.We don't care if you have it shipped, fly in and drive home or show up with a trailer.However, payment MUST clear before the car leaves.Furthermore, the title must be done legally too.I am a notary and can take care of the sellers signature and put your info on the title.
