All of our Classic Minis are carefully selected and prepared with a service and MOT and thoroughly checked prior to you starting your Classic Mini adventure.

We are very pleased to offer a very special and rare limited edition Rover Mini Cooper S Touring. A handful of these editions were produced and all converted at John Cooper Garages. Each example has a plaque and are numbered, ours is 97-S-057 and is also accompanied with its original John Cooper garages certificate. The S Touring was designed to boost power to nearly 90 BHP and improve long distance touring with a final drive of 2:7 which resulted with a Cooper with plenty of power and capability. The engines were upgraded with high lift rockers, larger inlet valves and high compression cylinder heads, they also benefitted from a three branch manifold and side exit uprated exhausts so they have a burble to match the performance. This example was supplied new by John Cooper garages and is accompanied with its original bill of sale. It has only covered 66k in 24 years with four previous owners, the last since 2007. It has a comprehensive service history folder including every MOT certificate. It also has both sets of keys and fobs. Further features include a unique S touring decals an Aston style filler cap and John Cooper sill trims.

On the road this Cooper touring drives very well, we have just fully rebuilt the engine and gearbox including a complete cylinder head rebuild. The engine is super smooth and responsive and as you would expect, the rebuilt gearbox is precise. These Coopers really come into there own on the open road, the power is very progressive and these cars like to rev right through the rev band. The K&N filter and sports exhaust adds to the experience. This is an Multi point fuel injected or MPi as they are known as, which means all you need to do to get on the open road is simply turn the key and go. Further features include a drivers airbag, side impact beams and a factory fitted alarm and immobiliser. they offer all the charm of the classic Mini with everyday practicality.

This Cooper has a well presented interior with its original carpets and half leather Monaco trim seats. This model also has its original John Cooper signature alloy door trim. We have just fitted a new full length Walnut dash which has six magnolia dials. This Mini also has rear seat belts and a fully boarded and carpeted boot.

This Mini has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, solid floors, boot floor and subframes. The paintwork is very well presented and gleams, this is not a restored example but it has been well maintained and cared for and wears its vintage well. We have fully serviced and checked this Mini and it has a long MOT so it is ready to make you smile and give you access to a very exclusive Mini Cooper club.
