A low mileage, low ownership car which we originally sold on behalf of the long term owner who bought the car whilst living in California in 2002. We sold the car around a year ago to an Irish gentleman who was hoping to interest his son in classic cars and restoration, however the interest never materialised and the gentleman has now asked us to find a new owner for the car.

Originally supplied by Riviera Rolls Royce in Los Angeles to the World Oil Co. in November 1978, the car was built in August 1978 to the original purchasers specifications and is of course left hand drive making it ideal for central London or continental touring. Being a Wraith, this is the long wheelbase version and has the small rear window.

The car has covered just 55,000 miles and has seen only occasional use during the previous owner's 19 year tenure covering just 3,000 miles during this time. The car starts with the first touch of the key and behaves perfectly on local test drive, however the car has seen little use for some time and will definitely need a thorough checking over before being put into regular use. The engine oil and engine coolant appear fresh which would tend to indicate a recent service and the owner advised us that the car was subject to some "re-commissioning" last year, indeed the car passed it's MOT in May of last year and has covered few miles since.

Finished in Shell Grey, the paintwork presents nicely however the interior, finished in St James Red, is looking a little tired and would benefit from leather restoration and new carpets. The rear compartment is fitted with vanity mirrors, passenger picnic table and the smaller rear window.

This is a rare Wraith II in need of some restoration but with excellent investment potential.
