This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle aka “Project American Heroes III” was built to sale at Barrett Jackson Orange County Auction 2010 with Proceeds going to the Armed Forces Foundation. The vehicle brought in a staggering $250k at the sale. The Chevelle underwent a complete restoration performed by Route 66 Motorsports and various suppliers of upgraded parts. It also had a feature dedicated to the build of the vehicle in Super Chevy Magazine.
6.2L / LSA Supercharged Fuel Injected V8 engine. Automatic TCI 4L80E transmission. Stange Engineering 9? rear end. Painted in PPG Black with Custom American Flag Inlaid stripes.
