1983 sl 380 convertible for sale

Lady owned for the past 10 years with 131000 miles and mot until June 2022

Mechanically this car has been meticulously maintained with approx £12000 of receipts over 10 years by the same Mercedes specialist in Surrey .

Drives really nicely and cruises lovely at 60mph with good oil pressure / good power and smooth gear change . The bodywork however needs some love - it's pretty solid underneath with the floors / chassis solid . The bulkhead also is solid but has some bubbling in various places in the paintwork front wings / underneath the hardtop and requires some repair to the arches and really a full paint job.

The car is perfectly useable as is and ready to drive away but to leave the bodywork perfect really requires a £2000-£3000 investment and you would have a very well sorted car at a very safe price.

The dash looks good ( no cracks ) and the interior is nice with some wear to the drivers seat .
