Just arrived - lovely Australian imported Mercedes Benz 250

Premiered at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1965, the W108 was initially released in three models, the 250S, SE, and 300SEb. In total 74,677 205S's were built between 1965 and 1969. The 250S was fitted with a 2.5litre engine producing 129bhp and boasting a top speed of 113mph, 110mph in the automatic. The simple elegance and practicality of the W108 design is regarded by many as iconic. Staying true to this elegant theme, this example is finished in Maroon with complimenting beige interior. The interior is in very good order throughout and the wooden inserts on the dash and door pillars, really create a feeling of 1960's automotive luxury. Being from Australia the car also came with Air Conditioning

We are pleased to confirm this is a very solid example having lived in Australia for a good majority of its life.

Since being in the UK it has been regularly serviced and MOT'd to ensure it is safe to use, we don't have a huge amount of paper history with the car but its physical condition more than makes up for this.

As with any classic car there is likely some further improvements that can be made, due to the age of this car we cannot offer a comprehensive warranty however we welcome any inspection to ensure you know exactly what you are buying. We have full workshop facilities and can display the car on a ramp if required.

It would be easy to spend £20K just restoring a bodyshell on one of these so we feel it represents excellent value at just £19995.
