As the Heritage Certificate confirms, this is a UK Series 2 4.2 E Type that was supplied by Henleys of London on 25/11/1968 in the original colours that it sports today. Known to the current registered keeper from new, this car has formed part of an important collection of over fifty similar examples and we are very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to bring this car to market. There is a substantial service record detailing early works by RA Creamer & Son of Kensington (one of the oldest Jaguar Dealers) and then latterly various other more mainstream suppliers. Within this file of paperwork are details of a full nut and bolt restoration and whilst some time has passed, the car has seen little use since and is in the same wonderful condition. Seldom do low ownership E-types come to market, and this example (for the price quoted) has to be a contender if you are seriously in the market for something special.
