Jaguar s type 1965 manual extensive work complete for sale

1965 s type. Car has had exstensive restoration. Its running a 240 mk2 jag  1968 2.4 engine mated to the origonal manual box and overdrive is working. Carbs have been rebuilt and electronic ignition added. In addition the following work has been done to the car. New rear wings. Brakes disks pads replaced and calipers refurbished, wheel barings replaced, brake lines, some bushings replaced. Two new fuel tanks and fuel pumps, new boot floor, cross member replaced, bonnet replaced, new wiring loom, tyres were replaced 4 years ago when restoration started. Window rumbers replaced. Rear dif reconditioned. interiour seats very good but dash and wood will need polished varnished and car will need some minor bits to finish, correct rear door rubber seals and some general fettling/finishing will be needed before being fully returned to the road, it was driven to my garage. i spotted a few other minor things no radiator overflow. new gasket on thomostat housing is needed slight leak. I will sort these bits this week if i get time, the car was buttoned up just to do a 5 mile drive to my garage which it manged well. I have a whatap walkaround i can send and am happy to take viewing by appointment. Its a cracking car that you couldnt restore this far for this king of money and it needs s bit of timd spent on it rather than money. it runs drives starts and stops its might need some other bits of work but i havent invested much time in the car as i know its not staying.
