Manufactured at Chevrolets St Louis Missouri Plant and delivered to Wooten Chevrolet Dresden TN 23/09/1978. The first owner being Mr G.T.Jenings. The Corvette was then sold to Scheeff Chevrolet,Ohio 06/06/1990 where a Mr L.F.Nicolson purchased at 20,443 miles. The next owner Mr R.R.Wiley purchased08/03/2000 at a documented 37,997 miles. Then the final USA owner a Mr T. Ottman purchased at 43,725 miles. Mersons World of Cars, Corvette specialist purchased the car at 45,407 miles. The car was then purchased by its first UK owner 25/05/2013, with all UK MOT mileage recorded each year up to 55,446 miles. Then purchased my myself 28/11/2020 , at 55,525 miles. A fresh MOT is now present at 56044 miles, although MOT exempt the MOT gives peace of mind to the new owner.

The factory build sheet is present, the original Corvette sales literature and hand book. Statement of Origin certificate, the original 1978 purchase invoice and all US titles/sales invoices with recorded mileages of each owner. Import papers, UK registration documents all listing is history.

Although not a rare Corvette the option list makes it interesting. 1978 Anniversary models of which 40,274 made only 15,283 came with two tone paint of which only 972 came with glass tops add to this the FE7 Gymkhana suspension option and the not often optioned Mahogany leather interior (doc martin ox blood in my mind) coupled with the above listed factory options this L82 Corvette has a very low production number. The documentation folder is large & comprehensive.

This matching numbers Corvette is in stunning condition, drives A1 and is very very clean underneath coupled with over 1k in new service parts fitted to make this C3 one of the best available.
