This is a glorious Austin Healey 3000 Mark 1 from 1961. The car has undergone a recent restoration to a very high standard and is simply a stunning car to drive and generally be around. The car is the BT7 version, meaning a 2+2.

The iconic ice blue over ivory fresh paintwork is a joy and the interior is wonderfully original and in great shape. Being a car that has spent its life in the warmer climes of Utah USA, means she is a true survivor and as such has never been subjected to any structural corrosion whatsoever. Being a car supplied from the Healey factory in Oxford and shipped to Utah in the very early 1960's mean she is of course a left hand drive car. Actually over 90% of these 'Big Healeys' were exported, most going to North America.

Thankfully there are many photographs of the car that show the extensive work that was undertaken to get the car in the condition she is in today. The car was brought back into the UK in 2014. She is now fully UK registered correctly and is ready to enjoy immediately. The last MOT involved no advisories, I hope this gives an idea of the condition of the car.

The car drives very nicely indeed and is as powerful and responsive as you would expect, the overdrive makes cruising a pleasure and the fresh brakes make light work of stopping and slowing. The car starts instantly and the fully refreshed engine bay is a pleasure to peruse. Exact attention to original detail has been followed, I hope the pictures show this nicely. The very well respected engineer who carried out the restoration work is available for a conversation about the car if any detailed questions require a detailed answer.

The is a lack of long term history with this car sadly, however the more resent restoration work is well documented, and as mentioned, there are 100's of photos of the work undertaken.

The car is available straight away. We offer a part exchange service, we can arrange UK wide delivery or work with your preferred transport provider should shipping overseas be required.

We are based in a large indoor showroom in the North Hampshire countryside (RG25). We are just a 10 minute drive from the M3 J7 at Basingstoke, or an equal distance from the A34 and A303 major road junctions near Whitchurch in Hampshire. Alternatively we have a local railway station (Overton) within 8 minutes walking time.
