Maybe not one for the purists but a really fun fast road Alfa spider that's been subject to unique styling modifications giving it a smooth distinctive look along with some engine upgrades giving increased power, reliability and drivability.

This is a super fun Alfa that puts a grin on your face and feels lively and extremely agile and is such a rewarding drive. The Koni shocks offer sharp precise handling dynamics along with superb gear changes and that classic Alfa twin cam engine and stainless sports exhaust gives a feeling of that race bred heritage. Showing around 125BHP with a greatly improved torque curve.

Starting life as a standard and very solid S3 2000 this Alfa has since been subject to the following extensive service works by renowned Alfa specialist's Alfaholics, Ferdi and Emerald M3D Ltd.

£3,400 of Alfaholics work including full strip down and rebuilt gear box, new clutch, valve clearances, replaced camshaft with good used, thermostat, cam followers, shims, input shaft bearing, Alfaholics quaife syncro ring, rear main seal, slave cylinder, hoses, thermostat housing, prop bushes and doughnuts etc.

Emerald M3D Ltd engine management system and set up. Works including Jenvey throttle body set up, Jenvey fuel rails, K6 ECU engine management system, Sytec high pressure fuel pump, Sytec fuel swirl pot, Marelli crank position sensor, Air and water temp sender units, Colvern throttle potentiometer, Flying loom on ECU, Inductive crank sensor etc.

Wheels have been upgraded to the lightweight Alfaholics 7×15″ GTA Veloce Wheel with 195/55/R15 Bridgestone Potenzas all round with lots of tread depth.

Solid bodywork and really good paint all round, it was subject to a professional respray a few years ago and all panels have a deep Rosso shine (Paint code 514) It is by no means perfect but is still lovely and very presentable. One or two small dings and dents but generally all panels are straight and all doors align well. Wings are nice and straight, headlamp bowls are all good and floors, cills, cross member, valances etc all appear solid. Solid boot area retains the original 14” Campagnolo spare, jack and tool kit. The car has had decent under seal as you would expect but it's not over done.

Hood is in good condition, there is a small scuff on the top section, rear screen is also clear enough to see through and all window surrounds are in good order. The twin binnacle gauges are clear and working, dash is good and there has been new carpet added throughout with Dynamat soundproofing underneath. Black vinyl seats are all good. Windows all work nicely and door trims are good. It's by no means perfect inside but is still a great place to be listening the raspy stainless steel exhaust note of this classic unique little Alfa. I doubt you will see another like it.

This is an Alfa to be driven enthusiastically with the knowledge that someone has already invested time and money getting it to the standard it is today.
