completely refurbished and is in spectacular condition. Completely

. Complete under carriage restoration and factory correct undercoat has

been completed. The car does have a well fitted dash cap. Suspension is

in great shape and without issues . MB sub frame recall completed at

Mercedes. Well over $6. 00 spent in parts alone. Mechanical restoration

CO analysis. New radiator . Perfect D Jet function. Recent addition of

Original instruments with upgraded dash pod. Period correct

there and most likely just needs to be charged. I just don't use it . so

have not fixed it

If you are looking for a vintage SL the 72 model has it all. This one

includes euro headlights. and correct period interior. Although most

W107s are extremely well built and collectable. the most desirable and

collectable of the W107s is the 1972 450SL with its features and higher

horse-power. It is also the first V8 powered two-seater to be built at

the Stuttgart. Germany factory. Part of what makes the 1972 450SL so

desirable to collectors and Mercedes enthusiasts is that later models

required the increased U. S. emissions and safety requirements resulting

in reduced overall looks. performance and horse-power.

The car was selected to show and participate in the 2010 Keenland

Concours d' Elegance in Lexington Kentucky ( sports classic division . pictured) . /p>

an honor reserved for only the finest automobiles.

This car has multiple trophies and has placed well in many car shows

I drive this car without hesitation. it is not a trailer queen but a

true road car . top up. top down. hard top on. each look provides the

driver with true excitement. I would not hesitate to  drive this car

anywhere. it performs. runs that well

At just over 144. 00 miles. this car has a long life ahead of it. All

service records and photo history of the restoration are available. No

under body rust is present. a few chips in the paint here and there. but

minor . a small minor paint bubble on the door sill. This car is ready

to go. If you ever wanted a turn key 450SL. this is it

Feel free to email with questions. or to request specific pictures .

I can help arrange a pre inspection or feel free to arrange for it to be

done on your own.   There are several MB dealers and independent garages

close to me.   This will be at your expense ( typically $100 or so)
