If you are looking for a vintage SL the 72 model has it all. This one
includes euro headlights. and correct period interior. Although most
W107s are extremely well built and collectable. the most desirable and
collectable of the W107s is the 1972 450SL with its features and higher
horse-power. It is also the first V8 powered two-seater to be built at
the Stuttgart. Germany factory. Part of what makes the 1972 450SL so
desirable to collectors and Mercedes enthusiasts is that later models
required the increased U. S. emissions and safety requirements resulting
in reduced overall looks. performance and horse-power.
The car was selected to show and participate in the 2010 Keenland
Concours d' Elegance in Lexington Kentucky ( sports classic division . pictured) . /p>
an honor reserved for only the finest automobiles.
This car has multiple trophies and has placed well in many car shows

true road car . top up. top down. hard top on. each look provides the
driver with true excitement. I would not hesitate to drive this car
anywhere. it performs. runs that well

under body rust is present. a few chips in the paint here and there. but
minor . a small minor paint bubble on the door sill. This car is ready
