I am selling a 1964 Chevy Impala that I inherited. It runs and drives and is registered. The interior. carpet. and headliner was redone about two years ago. I believe it is leather but I would not know how to verify this. It has Automatic transmission with the shift stick on the steering column. Has stereo but no speakers. No A/C. It has an upgraded radiator with two additional cooling fans that are controlled by a switch on the lower dash. The horn buttons is also on the dash but it does not have the horn connected. The doors have shaved handles and they open from an auto popper and actuators through a key chain remote. and it has two buttons on the dash to open either side. It has new breaks and the drum breaks were all rebuilt. new break lines. new tires. new fuel lines. rebuilt 4 barrel holly carburetor. new 3 row aluminum radiator with two additional cooling fans. and replaced the power steering pump a few months ago. has a brand new steering wheel. I had the front and back windshield removed and reinstalled with new gaskets by an auto glass company. All glass and lights are original. The paint still shines and looks really pretty after a wax. The clear coat looks good. But It does have a few flaw spots and chips. The engine is a 327 V8. but I don't know what type of transmission it has. I could not find any numbers stamped on it. I believe the Mileage is around 120k. Tomorrow i will go look and post it. Here is a list of known problems - My grandfather told me that the struts and the steering box needs to be tightened because it drives like a boat. I will include new struts in the sale of the car IF I can find them in my garage. - I think the carb needs to be adjusted because I have to hold open the air flap to start it after its been sitting for a month. It has an electric choke. But this might just be a common thing from a cold start? -Some of the chrome is starting to pit on the window trims and some interior trim pieced but its still in good shape. - Has a few paint chips (see pictures) - Window weather stripping needs to be replaced. its getting old and cracking. - Turn signal cam needs to be replaced. I think its 19. 99 online. - A hose clamp on the power steering pump needs to be replaced. The old hose was used instead of buying a new one - The alternator needs to be replaced. My battery was not getting a full charge. Its really easy to replace and I would recommend a high performance one. not a cheapo. - The windshield cowl has rust coming through the chrome. Its the grill piece that covers the window wiper blades. It would need to be replaced eventually. - you need to buy a battery. I never bought it a battery for it because I use the one out of my truck when i want to drive it. I have a video of the impala running. Here is a you tube link to a video. I have more pictures and if the video doesnt show up ask me for the link. This Car is being sold "AS IS" with no warranties either expressed or implied. No refunds. No returns. so Please contact me if you have any questions. The car would have to be paid in full before it is picked up. If you copy and paste Wizxon8dwrimpalaforsale in you tube it will also pull up the video.
